To clarify what happened - we are not 100% sure at this point. The truck was very jumpy out of the gate and took some very hard bounces. The kill was still intact and Larry did have all safety gear on and in place. The bottom line is that the good Lord shut the truck down and kept Larry and everyone else from further injury and for that we are extremely grateful. That is all tha

Having been an independent contractor for Motorsports in the past, those jobs are the higher paid deals. More $ per deal less other work needed. Motorsports is a whole different game than any job you could have. Networking and pure name recognition is the name of the game. Many people may not b

I'm gonna get crucified for this post I'm sure.
Every time I've seen the legends live,or watched on youtube,I see a complete rout of the show by mike otts tractor.the other mods I've seen struggle severely to make a pass to 250 ft,then mike goes 400 easily.most of the mods are 5 to 6000 lb trs and should have a sled setting accordingly to let everyone go 300 ft

There definitely needs to be more smoke in LSS. Nothing gets the crowd going like an alcohol vrs smoke rivalry. This will make the class easier to sell and promote. Probably sell more beer and get people coming back. In turn growing the sport. All greath things!
Diesel tractors are definitely at a disadvantage.
Ross's are the only tractor to run on kill all season and h

I’ve seen some pretty small thin fence stop a full speed sprint car tire. Do I like the idea of the fencing..no. But, its time to take a serious look at them. Racetracks around the world have them and no one bats an eye. Hell, baseball has netting around the

Reliable source said ppl pull at The Fort lost money this year, as well as at least 1 other ppl venue!
That wouldn’t be surprising, the crowd at the fort for the PPL pull was the smallest I’ve ever seen there. The NTPA crowd was double or more.

Also glad to see the chain link fencing, incase it didn't.
I think more places need a chain link fence it’s a great see thru safety barrier. It combined with barrier or guardrail will stop a lot and not block views.

I find it amusing having Bauer even mentioned for this discussion. Last I’d heard DN was parked outside behind the barn. He was pissed they made up a “rule” about no third motor because they told him it couldn’t be done and make weight and he did it with weight to move. Now change to allow 3 and think you are doing him a favor. It’s not like he forgot. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the unlimit
