The people involved in that class are a good group of people, I do not know of any puller in that class that is not working to improve their tractor with what means they have possible. Pulling is expensive on any level. One way I look at it (my opinion) if the LSS class said you can only run 8 ply 30.5 tires where do you go to get them?? they do not make them any more new old stock is as much or

wondering where donations for the make a welder foundation can be sent??? We have recently purchased a copy of "welding for dummies" and would like to donate. Rumor has it that Penn Dot had uncle Henry pulled over on 15 north for a wide load violation. They were said to have been issuing henry the little blue pill hoping to return some blood to his other head and to once agian allow sharron to se

Richard I commend you on your accomplishments, and infact I can recall years ago my father brought me to your shop to see your tractor. It was from a young age shortly after learning some of the inner workings of a pulling tractor that I knew some day I wanted to be involved in the pulling motor sport in some form or another. I did not forget your involvement in the committee or never questioned

We have worked with rpm, great people, had datalog & corsa. We have been pushing The computech datamaxx systems sold lots already and get great pricing allowing us to sell them under racer retail. The datamaxx it easy to read, expandable in channels, wireless, no calibrations of sensors required, also when buying the full digital display option you can replay the run live without down loading in

3 of the same will work just fine as long as they are not 3 HUGE turbo chargers and you have enough air pumping displacement. Most people like the low psi stage chargers to draw a large amount of air mass (hence a little bigger cold wheel) then use the manifold charger to squeeze the large air mass into the engine (a little smaller cold wheel). Size your housings according to your psi readings fo

I guess I don't understand why everyone hates engine builders and thinks they are all over priced. Most (not all) builders work long hours to keep customers happy to make sure they get to a pull. They deal with engineering R&D costs that can make your head spin to find the next latest and greatest part to give you a little edge untill everyone finds out about it, only then to have to enginee

dv573 has 9.0 in rod 1.50 pin. some late rods have the 1.625 pin. only thing is the rod is a little thin. there is a cat, case and jd rod that we have also investigated that range from 9-10.2" long. good luck with your projects

I agree on the lbs of air per min that the hx 60 puts out at stock trim but when you factor the barometric psi, ambient temp, vacuum draw at inlet, inlet psi. inlet density, compressor wheel efficiency, isentropic efficiency and ic pressure drop it changes the actual mass of air that you are pumping. I am not saying its not possible, it would probably be more likely if you have 50 degree air going i

you need to look at how many lbs of air your turbo charger is moving( air map) and the the air density, along with the air discharge temp to properly size your cooler. If your turbo is not large enough and you turn it to fast it will fall of the map and super heat the air. There are very few super farm turbos that will move over 100lbs a min, which is still under 1500 cfm.

I think its a bit confusing if you are one of the first five and the flag man stops you for being past 300 or what ever and then they set a the full pull mark in front of the guys that may or not have been truely done. I have yet to see this happen personaly but it seems like it could be problem.
