I agree, not a fan of the trans-gendered tractors regardless of the sheet metal.

Yep. Doug Roberts old Barnyard Beast did it back in the 90's. Especially when it still had the 4320 sheet metal on it, not that the sheet metal matters, just noting the time frame. I loved watching that thing at the starting line. Seemed like Felton's Palmetto Puller and Brackett's old Half Cocked did it as well.

I'm a fan and I care that the tin matches the motor, but apparently the competitors do not anymore. What ever happened to brand loyalty?

Would the engine in a Kubota G5200H be a good candidate for a compact diesel puller?

Yep I'd rather run down the track once for 350' than twice for 300' and the same money. But hey, everybody has their own opinion and that's ok. We don't all have to agree on everything.

Research and drive them all. Buy the one that feels right to YOU! They all break down at some point. That's why they all come with warranties and all dealers have shops. Another thing to consider is how good is your local dealer if you do need service? How far will you have to go if they're not a reliable dealer?

A cover is not a weight. If the rules specifically say a weight falling off is the only thing that disqualifies you, then there you go.

Did the weight fall off or just a chrome cover? That could be the difference.
