it's a 2805.i belive carlton built most of the frame and chassis himself.it would be nice to see another brand be competitive.it seems a lot of people get caught up in the green-red thing, and will never cheer or support another brand.myself im a fan of tractor pulling,i dont care what brand or who's driving,im just grateful to be able to view are great sport.....GO CARLTON !!!!!!!!!!!!!by patches - Pulling Forum

Sascha, I have a couple of questions for you... 1. In Europe for the EU Cup, how is qualifying, does each country send a team for each class? 2. Can you travel back and forth between countries with your tractor like we can between states? 3. Do any pullers use any, what we would call, off brands such as: a heston same, or a belarus? Thank you, Patchesby patches - Pulling Forum

Re: My Opinion--Pulling Magazines - 15 years ago
my opinion of the puller is,i find most of the articles somewhat boring.my personal preference is moreso about the vehicle than the owner-driver.i really dont care where they live, what kind of business they are involved with,or how many acres or cows they have.the articles need to focus on the pulling vehicle, more on the inner workings of it insted of just filler.i often wonder if it really matteby patches - Pulling Forum

here around ny,oh,and pa,full pull productions is pretty big.when rick announces ,its just as bad,he will say a tr has 4 chargers on it when antone can see only two or three.semi trucks have 2 1/2 in fuel injection lines, and everyone is or was a champion of something.it gets really bad in the ss-ps-lps combo class, the lps are talked up to be a contender and when they are 50 ft short theres alwaysby patches - Pulling Forum

yea, every pulling show on tv has a lot of disinformation.i suppose a new fan has his head spinning after they go to a few pulls and learn to recognize that what they were told on tv is a long way from reality.im amazed that these shows arent previewed by a person that is knowledgeable about pulling, and given time to correct a few things.do you think nhra would have a motorcycle sound when a fuelby patches - Pulling Forum
Re: What pulling was on ESPN2 this morning? - 15 years ago
i also noticed that most of the pulls started with a different sound to the vehicles.how do all the classes have a unlimited cubic inch rule.i would like to know how the sled weight is determined, beginning weight is advertised as 40,000 lbs and ending weight is 200,000-300,000 lbs.at the pulls when most vehicles start,if your in the right place you can see under the pan,so i assume it doesnt weigby patches - Pulling Forum
