Neither Methanol or Diesel tractors are a bolt on and go technology! The good running Methanol and Diesel tractors have years of research and developement behind them. Even then it is not your grandfathers Buick where you just get on it and go!
First I looked at the Points results, it appears to me that a JD won the most hooks by a large margin.
The Methanol tractors that are winning have the

OK, ESP splits the Diesels and Alcohol tractors, in both the light and heavy class. Now when the promoter chooses the 4 class' they want what class,s are going to get left out? Would you rather pull together or set home and watch the other class?

When the gentleman mentioned Paul Harvey and the rest of the story, when you are bitching about farmers and subsidies, be sure you know the entire story. If it were not for subsidies, prices would be much more than they are now if you could purchase the food at any price!!!

It was my understanding the last few years, again I AM NOT CERTAIN AND FOR HOW LONG, they ran the tractor pull the same weekend as a music fest not too far away. Then said, see no one comes to tractor pulls.
Tractor pull attendance is hard to understand. A pull will do very well, Penn Yan for example, then a short distance away they can not get even a small croud, Dundee!

Penn Yan Pull committee and fair board.
Thank you for "sticking with" the pull this weekend and using the rain date.
The pull turned out well, the spectators I spoke to had a good time as did the pullers.
Thank you

I am thinking the spectators might not appreciate the oil bath from the exhaust blowing oil in the air.
Ask Gambler about that, he did the ultimate job a few years ago.

Wayne Butts; the Cuba NY pull was always a great pull, successful and enjoyed by all the spectators and pullers. What would it take to have an ESP pull there again?

I think we all agree that the pull was not perfect, I have been to very few in 30 years that have been.
Was there things that could of been different Yes, did the promoter try to improve things from last year. Yes, he made vast changes, and did a great job.
The track was really not that far off from being excellent. The issue stemmed from too much rain, and "time" for the track to

Henry you should try farming, you would find out that the weather does not always cooperate, which just snow balls into other issues.
There was some inexperience and tough conditions last week end. Everyone has to get experience someplace sometime. It would be great if everyone started out with "experience" but it is a funny thing, it is not something that someone can learn from a book or be to

Yes it would have helped you attending.
My guess is going to a rain date cuts back on the attendance, but I am not sure.
I do know the costs are BIG, all the pullers have to leave and come back, sled is there for an extra day, food, workers, the logistics are BIG also and probably fewer tractors. It is not as simple as it sounds.
Yes the conditions "could" be better, but they could be wo

Results are on the ESP show.
I would like to thank you for your patients and understanding with the challenge of putting on a pull after so much rain this week, and lack of sun the last few days to dry out the ground.
This is not an "excuse" just observations. The track as extremely challenging for sled settings. There had been so much rain during the recent past that the track was extremel

My semi/motor home tires rot out before the wear out. I want to replace my steer tires and a couple of the drive tires. Looking for recommendations of what to and not to get/do. Where to go to get them and such.
I have been told to stay away form "off shore" tires as they are not always round.
Steers are 275 80 22.5
drives are 295 75 22.5
