Let’s Go Pulling, obviously.
Primarily cover the Lucas Oil PPL-backed Mid-South Pullers Association. I have also been providing coverage of the NTPA Grand National in Brandenburg, KY the last several years. I’ve filmed everything from four-engine mods to garden tractors, if you have an event you’d like me to capture (and my schedule allows), please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We have pictures around from the 3 track era at Tomah, but I'm to young to remember it. I did however attend the TS Performance pull in Franklin, KY one year. I didn't care for 3 tracks. As a photographer there was always something in the way. It didn't speed up the show either as a lot of times a track was sitting empty waiting for grooming equipment that was stil

Believe there is an event on the Mid-South schedule that will be running three tracks.
I've heard that the third track in Lawrenceburg, TN will be just for the Minis. As a one-man crew, two tracks is enough to keep me on my toes!

Shocked to see this hasn't been a topic here yet. Maybe it's because it's just a modern day Cold War and nothing will actually take place so it's not worth talking about.
But honestly why does our government think we are the international police force? If Russia invades Ukraine....why should I care? and even better yet why should our military be forced to go o

Well DICK you're giving grades to the pullers and not the show itself and yes it offends me. The show is dictated by sled settings and track preparation and I understand why you wouldn't state that as a problem. I was not throwing the pullers under the bus like you and John Murray but stating there is too many Pro Stock tractors invited to the pull and I have no idea wh

1st of all you guys giving grades to pullers putting on a show for you is comical. If you don't like it don't go it's that simple like a puller said years ago the show will go on just fine.. It's obvious you don't have any clue what you're watching. All classes A+++ in my opinion and I pull so I do know what I'm watching. I believe they need to

Super Stock FWD = D+
This class is hampered by running on a short track. Only ten entries and nine official hooks brings down the grade, as well.
Modified FWD = C
Just average. Nearly ten feet between first and third--expected a tighter grouping.
Limited Pro Stock = C
Just as with the Light Pro Stocks, I enjoy the class but nothing stood out to me.

That sure is a lot of classes.
I wouldn't be surprised if the event was split into two afternoon sessions and two evening sessions.
I think the part we're overlooking is the fact that this event is on Thanksgiving weekend.

I attended an event at Lucas Oil Stadium earlier this year (not a Colts game). Was advised by a friend who had spoken to someone with the sponsoring organization that they only get the revenue if the ticket is actually scanned. I cannot vouch for that, and even if true, that doesn't mean that's the same deal with the KY Fair and Exposition Center, but fwiw tha

It may been sold out but there was plenty of open seats. I was in person Friday night and watched live Saturday night
Rhetorical question: If there’s a sellout, do empty seats change the gross revenue generated from ticket sales?
Not merch, not beer sales, not concessions. Just money from tickets.
A sold-out event is great news—regardless of how many seats have butts in them.

Also noticed on Ticketmaster that the start/finish lines appear to be flipped compared to how the NFMS traditionally does it. Wonder if it's just a typo, or if they are going to actually try a new track layout.
Not a typo. Ticket confirmation email reiterates that: “Finish line is on the end with Sections 322-323-324.”

I was there 2 years ago and sat 1 row from top near sand pile I could hear just fine starting to sound like some just need something to gripe about.
Yep. That’s exactly it.
I was there two years ago, as well. I sat in the media pit and had difficulty hearing things at times. But with the removal of all of the ceiling tiles, I pretty much have to rely on the video boards to tell

Has anyone ever weighed in on portable scales at one pull, then weighed in on the same portable scales from same vendor at another pull, and got a different reading?
How much difference could there be if the same scales were on a concrete pad at one place, and different surface at another place?

When can we go back to arguing about what “advantages” (if any) diesel tractors should get compared to their alcohol counterparts?
Speaking of which, if this local guy would have had a bigger turbo, or been over on cubic inches or had a higher hitch height, would that have been okay to you all? All because local fans want to see local pullers? Sure, throwing on additional weight is a “simple”
