I personally don't want to run farm stock against legit farm tractors. I would much rather see a 7mph speed limit improved class and a 3 or 4 mph FARM STOCK class. I know I heard that would make the pull last too long, but its not classes that take time its tractors that take time. You could have 100 hooks with 10 classes and 100 hooks with 25 classes and the show would be the same length. A

Why make a post like that in someone else's name? I know for a fact the real dillan didn't post that. Like or not like him I don't care but why butcher his name like that on a public forum, definitely one of the most disrespectful things I've seen on this forum.

Would there be some flexibility in the 5000 after chores? Like make it 5500 instead of 5000? Thank you.

What have you guys done for pistons in a d301. I can't find pistons for it. Would a forged 301 gas piston work? Should I just get some machined? I am just looking for options.

What is the most effective way to get power out of a 301 diesel? I'm not looking for 200 horse I just acquired one and want to put it in my grandpa's old 560 puller from the 80s and want to take it out and have some fun at a couple local pulls. Thanks

If you have a problem with the pull then don't go or talk to the superiors and try to work something out. And travis do you have a reason to insult people who donate their time and equipment with nothing in return. I am not even from glenwood yet I still find myself running a leveling bar after I am done pulling every year simply because I like to see a good show and I myself know what it

Your best bet would be to buy a 291 or a 301 and depending on your application boring and stroking will help alot. For a head you need to go with a silver diamond truck head and get it ported with bigger valves.

Could you use a 966 starter and avoid all the flywheel machining? Why is the flywheel spacer needed?

I am looking for some info on puting a DT in a 560. I know you have to lengthen the frame rails and sheet metal, but thats not what I am worried about I am worried about the back plate/flywheel/clutch/starter situation and the steering situation. It will not be puting out alot of power just looking to put a 436 in my grandpas 560 for a parade/fun tractor, I brought this idea across him he said it

I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has repowered anything 706-1466 ih with a 3208 cat. Just want to look into how someone could do it. I came across a 3208 that I could get for cheap and thought it would be something neat to have.

A buddy and I both have quality performance cams and I am very happy with mine at around the 3000 rpm mark. He runs a higher rpm not sure what but his tractor seems to like the quality performance cam also.
