Orange Peel - Where are you located? We would love to add another tractor. We are still trying to get this class started. Using rule that are pretty consistent with the rest of the country (with the link that Nick provided above you can find our rules). Rules meeting 11/05/16 if you're interested. Currently we have one guy with an AC 301 (I think) with twin chargers. I am build a Deere (stil

I would agree that it was a great show and it was nice to see some different iron than what we normally see up here. The weather was great and it was nice to be able to come visit and spectate for a change of pace. Hats off the the Westfair board, the Clark Brothers, the Sponsors, and all the volunteers that put this event on.

Traction - I totally agree. This is one reason that we have not allowed dual wheels in our group. We had 5 trucks running in our 2.8 diesel class (75% of our hooks) this year. Keep in mind we run a light and heavy class and I think there was one broken axle shaft between all of these trucks. All running on 1 ton drivelines.

Would it be possible to add some facebook/social media integration into this forum? Unfortunately when you try to share direct links (example to a for sale ad), facebook changes the link and it takes you to the root page so people don't know what you were trying to point them too. It would be handy if there was a share button that worked correctly on the pages of this website.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the 2015 Sandcreek Shootout Sponsors (Frontier Coop & Benes Equipment are the only two that I know of but I know that there are many others), fans, and all of the pullers from various organizations that came out to put on one of the best shows Saunders County has seen. I don't have the numbers with me but I believe that we had over 100 hooks for

I have been looking into this for the last few years and the general consensus that I get is a 4010 is the best bet between weight, strength, and parts. If you hear of anything different, let me know because I would love to hear about it.

Her name is Linda Lussetto from out by Bridgeport, NE. It was great to see them come out and try to help support this LLSS class that we are starting. She did her part to put on one hell of a show. I wasn't sure if she was gonna hook but once she did... WOW.

A little over one week away and I have had a lot of phone calls, text messages, and facebook messages. For those not familiar with our group the rules can be found HERE.
In addition to our group there will be a class of SuperFarm, Light Limited Pro's, and 3,000 RPM (following Bush Pullers Rules for safety is what I am told).
It will be one heck of a show and I look forward to meeting y

There are a few out there but the guys have hung onto them for a reason and don't seem interested in moving them just yet. I am hopeful once the class starts to gain some traction they will come out a little more. We just had our first LLSS tractor make it to the track in West Point. He has some of the bugs worked out and hopes for a better showing. I also know that a couple from out West ar

The MATTPA will be closing out it's 2015 season in Wahoo, NE at the Sandcreek Shootout on September 12, 2015. The fans in Wahoo have always been a big supporter of pulling in general and not just one specific association. Again, this year thanks to a private sponsor there will be Superfarm, LLP, and 3,000 RPM classes added to the event. Last year was a spectacular show and this year promises

On behalf of the MATTPA, I would like to extend our sympathies to Duane's family and the Cornhusker Deere Team.
I met Duane earlier this year at our Plymouth, NE pull. Truly a loss for the sport and those that knew him.

Tim & Kyle - Thank you for actually signing your posts and I agree it was a great show. Unfortunately not every town has the fan support to have a national level event. If you are thinking about stepping up to a 466 Limited Pro, I encourage you to give our group a look. Feel free to contact myself with any questions.

Just got the call from the Monona County Fair and with 8/10th's of rain we are ready to go pulling tonight in Onawa, IA. This rain soaked into the new dirt for the track that was hauled in. They indicated that there are supposed to be clear skies this afternoon and a 20% chance of showers after 7:00 PM tonight. I hope to see you all in Onawa tonight!
