Why would they get on board with a class that has no tractors in the state compared to a class that has had good numbers for several years? Illinois already has the 466 3X4 turbo class that always has 10 tractors plus to go along with the 4.1 class that has good turnout as well. I don't see the light pros already built coming to Illinois so why add the class when nobody is building. There ar

The thought process behind the rule is that it could give you an advantage by reducing friction between the sled and the track. It isn't like the oildown rule in the NHRA were the penalty is about slowing down the show. That's the issue here.

The problem I see is there is no set stop point on these tracks. Outside most tracks have room to go 320 plus so 320 as a full pull isn't unacceptable but there are tracks like Brandenburg, KY and Troy, MO were a full pull still needs to be 300 or 310 at the most. Inside the full pull needs to be set so that there is room between the tractor and the sand pile. I know everyone loves to see a

I was pretty sure that I heard that chassis was built by Jeff and at least on of the Diekman boys. Could be wrong but that's what I remember hearing.

After reading the article about Larry Shope on Miles Beyond 300, I got thinking about the break down of national championships by state. So I went to Pulling-Reference.com, and started breaking it down. Here is what I found from the NTPA, PPL, Outlaws and ATPA since 2000. I will continue back further at a later time.

Yah that's what I'm getting at. Most of those tractors are pretty strong. Boeckmann still has some bad runs every now and then but he's also laying down some pretty good runs. The Bone Twister is GN caliber. Chance Encounters runs good. Smoke N' Mirrors has won on the GN circuit. Livin' a Dream is a GN Tractor. Horrall runs good. I haven't seen Wamble's tractor

I would be interested to here what some of the pullers who ran at Mt. Sterling thought of the track? I thought it looked a lot better than it used to be from a fans standpoint. Just curious what the pullers thought.

Don't know what happened to you two but I have nothing but good things to say about Kris and 6B Apparel. I recieved my shirts promptly, they fit great, and are exactly the design that we agreed upon. They were also cheaper than I expected them to be.
