I honestly believe that this sort of thing is what holds pulling back. I see people who start a new project & 2 years into it, they’ve been lied to & have a ton of money tied up in a project that they end up loosing hope on. I often said that good machinists aren’t good businessmen & good businessmen aren’t good machinists. Very few shops out there are both.

First thing I’d do as king ding a ling of NTPA would be teching vehicles. It may piss off a few but in the end, you’ll be respected for running a tight ship.

Is there anywhere that keeps an assortment of V band clamps? We are having a hard time finding one that will work on an older GMS butterfly

Takes just as much $$ to haul first place to the pull as it does last place. I’ve never understood how or why some of these guys haul their entries around the county for nothing.

I mean....name someone else that puts as much time & energy into promoting pulling as Jason Shultz....It always amazes me how many pullers show up at a pull & think the crowd just automatically knew to come to that event. It takes lots & lots of time to make a successful event / organization / team & it’s a lot easier to critique than to complement.

The second hitch that has been added to some of these trucks & tractors just barely holds the hook up.

So what if NTPA or PPL passes new rules? Who’s gonna inforce them?? When’s the last time you’ve seen anything besides hitch height & weight checked at a pull?

It’s a never ending cycle. There’s thread after thread of guys arm wrestling over LLSS rules. The suspension deal just adds to it.

some will never be happy no matter what is changed. The ones who are on top with solid axels will be the ones on top with suspension. I know it’s hard for some self centered people to grasp but it’s just the way it goes. I just wish for once there could be a class than can except the rules, stop bitching about turbos, stop bitching about weight & stop bitching about the chassis. Just follow the

Lol. True story. Actually the new LLSS is coming pretty good & the LSS just needs the head stuck back on. Hard to magically fix em when everything seems to take a year to get done. You’re welcome to come help, watch, criticize.... we welcome all kinds.

Why is there always someone wanting to screw with the rules. If the rules state “no suspension frontend” then why is that so hard to comprehend. The same ones that are always wanting to screw with the rules are the first ones to bark when a class gets too expensive. My LSS has air ride & the LLSS is solid. I do notice a difference in the air ride but don’t think it’s a necessity. With that sai

The atmosphere at chapel hill was very somber tonight. It was almost fitting that the heavens open up that the way it did. Personally, I envy Larry because if you’re gonna leave this earth, what better place to do it. I know it’s hard to accept anyone’s passing but to be in the presence of family, friends, pullers, promoters & fans that love you is all anyone could ever hope for.
