Couple of y’all need to get off your high horse acting like you don’t want to see it, or would never ever watch a video of a tractor/truck wreck.
And a couple of y'all need to get a life.

Before the JD, there was the 203 Massey and before that was the Flyin' Farmall that was on the cover of the Puller in '78 or 79 when it won the class in Davenport, I think.

Was Dave Hager the owner of the Ironsides sled? If so, he also deserves a nod.
He still is and just had another birthday, yesterday. You mentioned the Bauer sleds earlier. I can remember Vaughn at the starting line at Indy asking lots of questions of Dave. I believe that was '93?

Bryan and Ernie Conner have had some influence on pulling. Dave Hager has been around a bit.

QuoteGood question
That’s a great question Jake! I’d like to know how that 47% could in good conscience vote for any of the “democratic leadership” that is currently in office? How could one remain a “democrat” with the “leadership” the clearly tainted dnc puts forth to its voters?
Amen, Brotha! It's hard to understand how one can be above the fray, but support the crooked leadership.

"before the Conner's"? You're going to need video from at least 9 years before that one. I'm not saying that Terry wasn't doing his thing then, but I know Bryan was.

Way back when, even if you were competitive in multiple classes, you could only run 1 at the NFMS. Did that ever change as guys were winning multiple class championships with one tractor with the same or different engine combinations?

QuoteSpectator sport
Thats the problem, its a spectator sport, not a competition.
You want everything for the spectator, but you don't care about the pullers.
You want colors but you don't want to see which color builds the strongest tractor.
You don't want to see which competitor can do better, if one guy gets ahead whether it be by earning more money at his day job or

You're kind of stuck in a rut, aren't you stan?
You had this very thought provoking post from about a week ago. "ROSS PULLING TEAM is far superior in horse power thanred horse orl lock and load" You acted like you had it all figured out then!

personally I think that's out of line. if bauer said it was good, he genuinely thought it was fixed. if you knew him you'd understand. he's doing the best he can and I guarantee he feels like crap right now. making fun of the situation is just disrespectful and mean.
I agree.

If this problem happened at 3/4 track on a 240' track, his speed at 180' would have been less than it would have been at 225' on a 300' track. Sled problems at the far end of the track and kill switches that don't work are never going to result in a pretty ending indoors. I'm not saying those are the details, but that's what's being mentioned right now.

Quotejast an idea
here is an idea why not have the same things they have for monster trucks a remote kill switch also
Do you have any idea how they work on a monster truck?
An RII or Remote Ignition Interrupter is what is on a monster truck. It shuts off spark to the Mag and kills the engine.
How do you propose this would work on a diesel powered engine???
A 12 volt electromagne

Peter rabbit how is letting slotted turbos in the class gonna hurt numbers?
Fine don't let coolers in but whats the big deal with the slotted turbo?
I don't see your point I think it will better the class the small cube guys will love it because of the top end power that gives a 466 more of a shot doesnt it? The big cubes will run better to! From my research a 466 to a 54

How about leaving it alone? Is that simple enough?
There used to be super stock and modified. I don't know that I'm smart enough to pull today. There would be 6-10 mods at most state pulls and they'd pull 2 or 3 or 4 times. Same with SS.

You just want to bash NTPA. Admit it.
You spent the money for what, so you could almost be a SS? I guess I don't understand the whole spend more money so I can keep up with the other guys and after I do it (and they do too) I'm still 15' behind them. If they'd just open it up to Methanol in the water, then you'd have it made. But wait, they're putting it in

Pull is Cancelled Rain.
I'm within 10 blocks of the track and the sun's out and it's beautiful. Good air! It sprinkled this afternoon, but not enough to completely wet the sidewalk. Check before you turn around.
