2)I appreciate Sascha sharing the tarp video and it's likely effective for their circumstances. My question is, what's considered a normal "rain event" in Europe? Many of us in the States have a "feast or famine" situation when it comes to rain. You're likely getting a monsoon with the heat and humidity here or no rain at all in the summer. A tarp is a no

You guys are lucky they don't cover the pits with cameras in the Netherlands and Northern Germany or I could show you how that is handled, too.
When we even only expect rain, we lay roads with steel plates from the pit entrance to the actual pit spots.
Trucks are picked up at the gate - pulled into their spot. All "internal traffic" is happening on the plates.

We hardly do any events without a tarp here, even when there is no rain. Just to be able to really control the moisture and get it soaked in,
Check this video on how it is quickly removed and stored away easily:

Prent Payne now has a "twin brother" tractor of what the Mitas Monster battled for the championship in 2023 with just loosing out by. few points.
That should give you a benchmark.

I was told some numbers for the (sold out) Saturday, that sounded realistic:
They'd sold 21,000 tickets for the Saturday show before the event even started. Then another 3000 tickets went out for teams/crews and another 2000 went to sponsors / VIP / ...
Having the Saturday sold out by Friday evening and having to turn lots of people down at the entrance that did not buy tickets in advance

I don't have exact numbers and can only guess.
The Friday is a bit of "local guys entertaining the fans which are already there", Saturday it's jam packed with sometimes having to close the gates plus many coming for the musical acts at the party in the evening. Sunday it's less about the party people and more "regular" pulling crowd.
I'd guess all in all it's around 40

We have two small scale productions this weekend.
Being a night pull in the very west of Germany on Saturday, Anholt won't be in your early morning hours and will have pretty decent Unl Minis, Lim SS, Mods and Unl SS:
On Sunday we'll be in Italy for their first points pull of the season, with a little bit of everything from modified garden tractors, light mods, Pro Stocks to Semis

I do live streaming for two associations and some on a "deal with every individual promoter":
Two of the circuits cover the costs of the streams from their membership fees and the sponsors they could sell the streams to. Agreed - it's pretty low key stuff for now (and small circuits), but working on that.
If I work with promoters directly, we offer them everything from LED screen with ad

"Please explain how EFI will make the show better, make it easier on parts, etc. "
Because, since you measure a lot of things, you can tell the system to STOP when you measure that things are not going the way they are supposed to be going. Too high EGTs due to a faulty or clogged nozzle or you having put in a too lean tune (weather, new turbos, ego...).
That alone saves a lot of pistons, p

As some might know, I have gotten a team together, to better cater the German Pulling scene with live streams, podcast and workshop tours over the past 3 years.
We have just finished filming a series of "workshop tours", visting teams at their workshops and letting them show us and you, what they are busy with and get to know the people a bit better.

I am not sure many of you have witnessed it, but the promotors of the Made Powerweekend are currently doing some really great things this season.
They'll not only bring several US tractors to this years edition of their event (not allowed to name them all yet), but are now supporting the Lambada Team to bring their new Mini Rod to BG this year!

including foreign investors, unless it is their intention to take over America
Foreign investment usually means "produce in the US" instead if importing the goods.
Building a factory in the US has little to do with "taking over the country".
In my neck of the woods it's pretty common to build tools to supply factories all over the world.
