My 2 cents. This is going to be my first year to be behind the wheel in 40 years and I can barely contain the excitement. I will be pulling a "farm stock" tractor, because right now that's all I can afford and I have no desire to be more than a farm stock puller. I can agree with the need for the speed limits and the rpm's being governed. I've spend hours watching all the different

I thought I had seen all the Massey's that have pulled at Louisville. I just saw a YouTube video of the 1997 77SS class where Lloyd Neuman pulled a Massey. Does anyone know what it was he pulled and did he ever do any good with it?

Ky Puller I'm building a 1155. I've been blessed to find a 1155 that already has a turbo and a seller that has been very helpful in helping me get my dream going. I had to come up with a truck,a trailer, and the tractor all at the same time, that was challenging to say the least. I'm going to pull with the USA pullers association. For the first year or two I'm going to have

I have read these post and comments. I was estranged from tractor pulling from 1980 to about 2000. I have been blown away since reconnecting with the sport at the cost that is spent on these beautiful machines. I just can't figure out how anyone can afford to spend that kind of money.

That makes sense to me. As a 34 year veteran police officer I can agree with that.

It's obvious that most farm stock tractors that are pulling are not farm stock so my question is if farmer Joe wants to take his legit farm stock tractor and enter into Saturday night fun is he still required to have an RPM device and a kill switch. I'm planning on next year this being my comeback year and it's taken all I can do to come up with the truck, trailer, and tractor. I r

I'm taking a shot in the dark by posting this. I'm in need of getting a tractor moved from Lomax, Ill to the Miss. Gulf Coast (863 Miles +-). Anyone able to do it and give me a quote. It weighs 20,000 lbs.(+-), it has a long axle (9'6" width), and a cab. 228-282-3118

Well I've seen posts like this more than should be, I would like to think that tractor builders are better than this. I've been a police officer for 30 + years and this advise will cost you nothing. Get a contract with everything spelled out. The contract protects the owner and the builder.

I started out in the mid 70's with my dad at the age of 14. My dad was the local Massey dealer in the E-town Ky. area and he bought the a sled and I became hooked. We built a 180 Massey that would turn between 4500 and 5000 rpm's. We helped many customers in the area build a 275, a 1155, a 1130 and a 44 MH. The first one I was able to pull when I turned 16 was a 175. We eventually sold

I'm just a fan and I couldn't agree more. Not sure if anything can be done or even if it's fair to a puller that's able to pay for more than one tractor. It seems like every class has the same issue.

I'm about to purchase a 6 wheel tractor truck to pull a gooseneck and haul a pulling tractor. I've used Allstate on my personal vehicles for many years, but they told me they couldn't insure a truck and trailer that size. Looking for suggestions on another company that is reasonable and reliable.

My states would be Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Louisiana. I also could license it as a farm truck if that would help.

I'm trying to make plans of getting involved in this sport as a beginner. My plan is pulling a farm stock and a tractor weight of 14,000. I want to secure my transportation before buying my tractor. My question is what type of truck and trailer would be best to avoid DOT hassles. I'm looking at a single axle tractor and goose neck. My only purpose for this truck and trailer would be tra

I would like to thank all the different groups and individuals that post tractor pull videos on YouTube. I don't know if the groups like Lets Go Pulling or JP Pulling Productions are paid for their time, but I'm quiet sure individuals like Richard Pruitt, ekauf, and many others are not. Anyway, Thank You all, I would not be able to follow the sport like I'm able to without your vi

I've been curious. What is the purse for the Grand National pulls. When you have an unimaginable amount invested in equipment and then crisscrossing across the country to make the pulls what do you win. I think it would help spectators appreciate what the pullers go through to make it to the pulls.

I completely get the family deal, and the cost of making it to all these pulls has to be enormous. His family and his life is WAY MORE IMPORTANT then my selfish desire to see him beat a John Deere. The five priorities in life: God, family, self, work, and tractor pulling.

I was a teenage puller in the seventies when it wasn't so much about how much money could be spent. I moved to south Mississippi and was estranged from tractor pulling for about 35 years. When I started watching tractor pulling on YouTube I could not believe how much power was being generated or the money being spent on these tractors. Now to my point, from now a spectator's view (and I
