Go to the CMP website and you can find the rules for the current pro farm class. The light class should be the close to the same if not exactly the same except for the weight. Any questions please call a board member listed on the website. We would be more than happy to talk to you.

Just like Oly said we are looking to see how many tractors would pull in CMP if we would offer the class. We have some tentative basic rules 466ci, 20.8 tires, 3x3 turbo, p-pump and OEM heads/block. All rules are up for discussion or modifications if we get enough tractors to start the class.
If interested please come to the meeting or contact a board member.

I have never had a problem with the his sled or how he operates it during a pull. In fact I like hooking his sled and in IMO he runs a good show.

So if turbines should be FAA certified should turbos go through the same type certification? Similar theory, air pushing more air on a shaft. I've seen turbos scatter and get out of the housing. Are the turbine jet dryers that are use to dry tracks FAA certified? No. Are the gas turbines that run generators FAA certified? No. Are the turbines on the hydroplane boats FAA certified? No.

It really isn't an unlimited class. If it were a true unlimited then all the rules should say is make weight pull. Not much variety now. Not like the old days with allisons, turbines and v8, but someone decided what the fans want for the fans.

Depends on what turbine engine you are looking for (t-53, t-55, t-64 or JFTD-12), what series (-1, -13, 603, B etc...)and what condition you want to buy the engine in. There is a HUGE price difference for how you would pick from the list from above. You need to be a liitle more specific.
