Just to clarify, I was merely saying you had no turbo restrictions and could run whatever you could swing with 360 cubes and 3200 rpms

I was the only 6850 pro farm that went to Gordyville with the Student Loans tractor. Pretty much everyone was tore apart or didn't want to fight the weather on an open trailer. The rules were changed this year in an attempt to get us a little more competitive but running against intercooler tractors from Missouri with an unlimited turbo is difficult regardless of how many RPMs we get. A long long way down the road I might look at building for this class as it looks like alot of fun and its probably one of the cheaper classes to build for that you can run around the country. I know there are alot of motor options. So what would be the most cost effective motor to build, and how much would that be. Preferably the motor that is most legal around the country. It's going to fe

At gordville the ITPA and Illiana guys pull in the pro field class. I believe I was the only competitor that showed up to compete from either organization. We are allowed 3500 RPMs and 6500lbs just like the pro-field guys. We are at a big disadvantage though because we do not have inter-coolers like the guys that run in Pro-field in Missouri all year. The competitors I talked to were all nice and

I am once again trying to get an idea on some early pulls to go to for an OPEN 5500-6500lb class. I have a different tractor than last year and I would like to do a little test and tune before the summer season. Anything within 2 hours of east-central Illinois?

What are some of the better options for a 2.6 inch turbo on a 3000 rpm 5.9 cummins. I'm going to have to buy a smooth and a slotted cover for this turbo so I can run multiple classes around me.

What is everyone running for a digital rpm guage on their diesel tractors? I would like to have a way to go back and see what the max rpm was if that's possible. Like it has a memory of the highest rpm seen. It's on a hot farm tractor so we aren't really looking for a data logger.
Thanks

Thanks! Idk what his problem is. I really am just out trying to have some fun this summer. I know I'm not going to go out and destroy everyone. That's not my point I just am doing it for something different. This guy makes it sound like I'm trying to pull against a super farm tractor. In antique pulling in my experience driving skills is half the battle and horsepower doesn't

Does anyone know of any pulls near east central Illinois. Would be willing to travel a few hours. I'm looking for like a 6500 pound open tractor class. I have a farmall m with enough modifications I probably can't get away with a stock class. Thanks in advance!
