Injectors and injector cups are the main things on a LB7.
If it is a 4x4 you should look at the tail shaft housing on the trans and make sure it isn't cracked and check the transfer case for the pump rub issue (leaking)

Sorry if I came off a little harsh, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Honestly, from a spectators standpoint, I agree with you. But from a competitors standpoint, I hate to see keyboard pullers starting fires that we have a hard time controlling. Surely you can understand that.

Not to be a doubting Thomas, but are there enough professional trucks in the area to put together a good class?
Also, to the OP, your user name only adds to the idea that there is animosity between the compression ignition and spark ignition proponents of truck and tractor pulling. Something that I would personally like to squash. Regardless of fuel type, we are all out to have fun, please sto

If you are running a lim pro a pump class then you are stuck with an a pump.
You can sink a bunch of money in an A pump and get similar performance to a 13mm p7100 with a decent cam. It won't be as reliable though.
If you want to build around a P pump, you need to be clear what your organizations rules allow. "P" is used as a generic term but there are three series used in the pulling worl

Batmo wont make much difference on a HP charger, single charger maybe. As it has been said though, structural integrety is compromised. Overspeed it a little bit and BANG!
Engineered Diesel in Michigan has a nice wheel for the S400 line.
Forresters have been building some nice chargers lately aswell.

Limited single chargers usually like about 15.5-1. Makes a little difference on what pistons you are going to run also.
A hard anodized forged piston will be more forgiving at that cr considering higher inlet temperature and less control of peak cyliner temperature and pressure.
Whereas a cut cast piston would be happier at a little lower cr.

You might try to contact Kent Crowder @ Scheid Diesel service in Lafayette, IN.
I know he was running a NV in front of one of larrys older dropboxes for a while.before they went to a reverser setup.
Honestly though, I think you will be better off with a reverser in the long run. The nv's long live long with big power and are quite expensive to repair.
Best bet is to get your final drive r
