I believe Cody Shay ran a shorter stroke in his 8500 limited pro. With a 3b4 charger. 1 advantage is you can use bigger valves.....

We were checked in gordyville one year, they checked anyone that made the finals in the 9500 hot farm. They used a tube that measured the air volume from a cylinder. Not a big deal really.

some towns really have a hard time making moneyon a local tractor pullif you look in the crowd and consider every tractor attending has one operator in one pic man that eliminates a large portion of the spectators sitting along the trackswith what it costs to pay for a sled at today's prices around here anyway there isn't much money made on a local pull. I don't think there is as

I,ve done it with a wire welder, V,d out both sides of hub, slid it on ground threw the hard surface on the axle, spot welded in three places on each side of hub then went back to finish welding all around, then did another pass centering from center bead to hub, then again from center bead to axle, runs straight and no gussets .use,t remember what wire I used though.

yes you will need 1456 rods, 573 pistons would be the best , or as someone else says get custom pistons custon ones will cost 300 to 400 per hole, and a fairly long wait, in this sport every one tells you 6 to 8 weeks then delivers within a year, they are all nuts. I have every thing you would need, if you are interested. steel fly wheel forword.

there is no real need for sleeves, just pull out the origional 407 sleeves and hone the block to fit and your good to go. I have one.

dennis built me a cage to my specs, not his, got it done, and shipped to me in less than 30days along with fenders and tie bars. seams pretty fast to me, unlike other builders in this sport can take 6-8-12 months, if your lucky. just my 2 cents worth

I have been running his pumps for several years, on two different tractors, they run good, and no problems, and a good guy to deal with, you won't get a ear full of bs either.
