My brother Jeremy has written a blog for Miles Beyond 300 on a topic he has found himself quite passionate about over the last few months. Seeing all of these videos on Pulloff now from the 80's and 90's has only made him want to bring a nostalgia Two Wheel Drive class back to the sport. What are your thoughts? Do you think a Nostalgia Two Wheel Drive class would be successful on the

I truly believed this year's Gordyville was the best yet! The level of competition is quite remarkable as tractors from all around keep coming to the Midwest Winternationals. This year Klint actually had to close entries and told several competitors that he could not fit any other tractors in the show. I have posted my most recent blog throwing my two cents out on the weekend. I think th

There are many reasons that a company may want to get involved with a specific motorsports team. For some companies they are looking for a way to increase their impressions in a different dynamic and thus they look into a motorsports realm. Often in motorsports the people that a company can reach are of a diverse crowd from farmers and truckers, to business leaders and beyond. In most cases th

After watching tonight's conclusion of the 2011 NASCAR Chase for Cup, it got me thinking? Could our sport grow from a Chase to the Championship or would the introduction of more sweeps create parody in the sport? This the topic of my latest blog at www.milesbeyond300.blogspot.com. I would love to hear what your thoughts are about this and as always, thanks for reading! Miles Beyond 300

Thanks so much for the feedback! You all have truly added things to the list that I have over looked. I couldn't agree more that the amount of time between hooks can kill a show. Announcing a show is so much easier when the vehicles are pulling promptly. A good track crew can truly make a show and I have over looked that aspect when mentioning the importance of a consistent track.

I have often wondered what made a good tractor pull? I have my opinion from years of being a fan in the stands but I have always wondered what everyone put the highest priority on. I have never been a puller, so I would love for some competitors to share their thoughts as to if it is purse, track, venue etc. I posted a blog today with my thoughts and love your feedback. It's that time o

Thanks for the information on the Schmucker's. I was not aware that they did not qualify for Rookie of the Year Status with the NTPA.

You are very correct on the Hard Luck Award and you mentioned some very deserving folks. I had considered doing that one but wasn't sure how to determine who would be the winner. I think that is a great idea for the future!

I posted my thoughts on the 2011 season awards, as I tried to come up with some categories and award deserving competitors! In reflecting on the full season there were some really phenomenal performances and accomplishments that occurred. Jake, Dick and readers I would love to open this up for some further conversation on your thoughts. I certainly don't get to see all of the events, all

Dick, Thanks for reading the blog! You are totally correct in pointing out the Beaudry's for their efforts in advancing the sport. I watched them for years fighting hard to keep that Canuck fired and when they hit the setup it was unreal the things it could do. When Terry brought the tractor to Tomah, I watch and thought wow what a nice tractor. At Henry, I got to take a close look at it

Here, thanks for the feedback, I realized they didnt last year with not putting Randy Barreau in but figured I would take another stab at it. In my humble opinion winning the Badger State Points should earn a trip to Louisvile! Thanks for viewing the blog.

It is all in good fun and I am certain will give us something to discuss as the seas
