We went to a pull up in Mass a few years ago in October, it was totally miserable outside, temps were near freezing, my wife almost killed me for wanting to go to it until we went down the track and won the big payout of $1000, which was a pretty decent chunk of change for us truck guys in the northeast! Boy her attitude changed quick

I use an aircraft style EGT logger that has up to 12 channels. I bought the thermocouples off ebay for like 8 bucks a piece. It won't log a full run but it will log max egt for each cylinder which has helped me diagnose injector and pump problems. Here's a link to the logger:

We have been running a P3000 for years on our 3.0 (formerly 2.6) Cummins. It has remained competitive here in the northeast but this year we can defiantly tell we are behind in the HP game. Not sure if this helps you or not. I would say there's no question you can win with one, but exactly how competitive you will be every week will be in question. I would say if you're getting cash sho

Why aren't young people pulling tractors? Because they are pulling diesel trucks. Ever been to a diesel truck pull? There are maybe a handful of guys over the age of 50 but most of them are younger guys 18-30. Someday they might graduate to tractors but right now the diesel trucks are the wave of the future.

Are they having limited pro stock diesel pickups there for ESP as well? We (tried) to pull there the last two years with Shootout Productions and had to deal with passing thunderstorms both years. First year they cancelled after we got there and they scraped the track twice, then last year they ran us in the rain. I'm sure the fair lost their shirt on it both times. Nice fair, nice track, ju

Definatly 20-145 is where its at. I am running one in our limited pro diesel truck, if you are handy with a welder you can put one together very cheap. We are running two stock short-side axles, a stock dropout with the spiders welded, and stock hubs with home made adapters to real wheel inners and standard 8 lug outers. They do make an OEM aluminum center section for them as well if you need an

Personally I think its better now than its ever been, I don't pull with a PPL league but once you get them to stop playing around with major components in the rules it helps truck numbers grow. Stop changing the dang turbo rules, truck numbers will grow, guaranteed. 2.6 smooth, 3.0 smooth, then super stock. That's how it should be. Sure numbers dropped when smooth bore came out original
