The only upside to this change is those of us bottom feeders looking to get into pulling or stay in will have plenty of ag frame/rear end rolling chassis to pick from as For Sale page will be full of them.
This will effectively eventually kill another class just like what is happening to SS and PS. Only classes left the normal guy could "afford" will be SF and HF. Im sure 4.1 is on the horizon

As one who announces 10-12 local events a summer, my comments come from hearing those in the stands asking, what class is this, whats the difference, etc etc.
I try to make sure each class gets its due, what's a "466 Hot Farm" vs a 12.5 Hobby Farm vs a 640 Profarm...why? because I sat in the stands and heard the people asking and I'd try to fill them in and finally someone told me, y

We are in the same boat, we run a "Local" sizeable pull that supports various school clubs. BUT its run early June and with schools being closed we can't even begin to organize manpower and support from that club because none of them can be sure who is available and or when. And has been stated we cannot even think about how we would go to the local "establishments" and small businesses in t

Hi All:
I recall someone posting they make clutch pedal levers for the 66 series with multiple holes to set up stroke location and distances.
Anyone know who that supplier was/is?
Thanks in advance.

We run a 3000rpm limit class and its simple, over is over and a DQ.
The tractor is plugged into the sled and each run is recorded in the box and downloaded and checked after each class run if complete. If your found over, even a "spike" your Dq'd.. If the officials are feeling generous or its early season the class might get a "Warning" telling all that tractors are being found spiking ov

Heres your list:
You can buy tickets each session.
Get there early and claim a seat in the bleachers. You will find many have "claimed" space by taping a blanket or setting down stadium seats. There is no "reserved seats" unless your down front in a box which your not. Friday evening and Saturday evening seating will be TIGHT. Be prepared to be elbow to elbow and prepare for bleacher-butt.

The club we are involved with does tech in spring to check cubes before the season and then seals oil pans. You do anything that requires breaking the seal then you need to get checked again before the next event you hook at. Also turbos are checked before season and randomly checked all season across every class with a turbo size rule.
For the classes with rules about fuel/water a grab bag f

With all the controversy surrounding turbos that have map rings/grooved why not just make it all smooth bore?

Limit the pumps to 14mm and motors locked down at 540cubes. No fuel no fire to make power. Turbo size will become one dictated by what the motor can turn and if its limited on fuel there's your answer. Guys can play games with sizes then but it'll only turn so much based on fuel to fire it so it'll level itself out.

Get rid of all slotted turbo options, make every class every turbo smooth bore then this type of BS is done.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Started out really young, I can remember going to county fairs and my dad pulling the 806, I was maybe 8-9 years old?
Then they got into garden tractors and we had a Cub Cadet 122 running on alcohol and 50shot of Nitrous pulling on black top. All the other guys where playing with Nitro-methane and burning stuff up. Then we got a 656 on the farm and dropped a turbo on it so we would occasionall

There is a newer Holiday Inn close, but we found out trying to get a room for this past years event (Jan 2018) that they get $250+ a night, and that's if you can get a room.
We stayed in Champaign/Urbana area, only about 20 minutes from the pull site, Microtel Inn, plain Jane hotel, nothing fancy but it was clean and for $140-150?? for 2 nights.
Its right close to the highway, South, a

Theres areas North of Hwy 29 in Wisconsin that have 30 inches of ice on the lakes yet, and yes they are calling for up to 12+ inches of snow North of Wausau.
We'll be lucky to see land work in Northeastern Wis start by Mothers Day weekend.

For the real pulling fan they want to see the Euro tractors run. If they cant make finals let them make an exhibition run with the finals group. If I had the wherewithal to attempt loading a rig and sending it overseas to partake would I want to compete? Hell YES, but if I broke or missed a final would I want to run anyway because I'm over there? HELL YES!

No tube carts, AWESOME! Also excited to see the EURO tractors compete. And walk around dreaming of the day I may have my own to take a run in January at G-Ville but until then Ill be drinking beer trackside, watching the action and shooting the breeze with fans and the famous Hook Queen. AND I

I wouldn't worry..
Already know a few Super Farms are changing class to LimPro for next season so they will not have to worry about numbers issue for a LimPro class. I'm sure there will be plenty in either SF or LimPro. Heck I watched 40 something SF at Tomah, the class could handle a few less no problem.

I tend to agree, I love seeing "Smoke" but the SF class was huge as was the truck class that ran that night. Any class with 30+ in it needs to be broken up into smaller or limited by region or invite. I sat until 1am and left, just too long a night. Sunday session was really poorly attended so doing away or changing the schedule to allow pulls to finish by Saturday night and "Head for home" Sunda

Saw it run in Tomah, also was fortunate to be able to get a close up and personal look in the pits. That thing is PERFECT! it runs like a scalded dog and proved it with a sweep of the weekend.
Ross Crew was very gracious allowing many of us roaming the pits to get a close look under hood, I for one was flat out blown away impressed by how awesome it looked.

We have been camping for a few years now, but my advise would be get an electric site if you have a/c , take a grill along if you want to save some money on food , and if you have a large camper and pickup things will be tight because the sites are fairly small, but it is very convenient to walk back and forth through the pits between sessions or take the trolley, any other question

For us as well, it'll be first time camping at Tomah and for some first time to Tomah for the big event and for me first time back since 1986. I already called the campsite link to get some info but was looking to any "Veteran Campers" at Tomah to chime in incase there's detail one should keep in mind or know up front.
Were likely skipping a local event pull this year to make the Tom

Looks like I'll have a group going to Tomah this year for the pulls and we want to camp. Anyone who has done this at the pulls, what do we need to know?
All details welcome, yes we know the basics, cold beer, grill, more cold beer.
Anything helpful is appreciated...Thanks in advance.

1, Yes I'd be interested
2. Cost, half of what LIVE attendance would cost
3. If I could attend I would but if I cant id watch from home for half price per session or a package deal for the entire weekend.

My 2 cents:
1st time to Gordyville, absolutely unreal, never seen so many hooks per the cost I paid to get in, bang for the buck for sure. But here's my list
1. Saving your bleacher seat, ehh not sure but it does make seating difficult to say the least HOWEVER I also was able to sit down in the VIP Box for a session and I LOVED IT. If given the opportunity to buy a seat from the box ow
