I have a 4430 that I can only get 192 psi on the clutch pressure. No matter how many shims you install the pressure will not climb. Any reason why this is?

Jim nice videos, looks like you have it running pretty good. I noticed that you had quite a bit of black smoke. Who did your pump work for you and how many cc does it put out. For the rest of you roosy pullers... who does make the best and biggest roosy out there. thanks

"been there" and to the rest of you, thank you very much for the info and encouraging words. I don't want to keep wasting everyones time on this subject but I was wondering if any of the rest of you 4010, 4020, 4320 roosa master people have any you tube videos. I was impressed with the way that the 4320 ran for just a few improvements! Again...thanks to all

So the only changes you have made to your 4320 is turbo, pump, injectors and you can run 6th and 7th! Thats not too bad. What size of turbo are you capable of running!

The 300 cc pump that you run, is that a 450 head and rotor? Also do you have any head work or anything else? I was thinking of running 466 or 502 cid, a ported head, 2.5 turbo, 2800 to 3000 rpm and didn't know if I would be competitive or not. I know that fuel is an issue but was hoping there was a good roosy out there!

So with this setup you do not loose your pto? What kind of horsepower does that handle then? I have heard about shaving some off the floaters on a stock 4430 clutch in order to fit in another disc in...is this possible?

Is the roosa master pump that poor of a fuel pump? Is the problem the amount of fuel that it can't deliver, delivery pressure, or what? I see columbus has 500 head and rotors...still not enough to run with an A - pump or 15mm even at 3000 rpm?

Is it possible to built a tractor equiped with a roosa master pump to compete with the inlines and the modle 100's? The class is a 3000 rpm 2.5 inducer limit, 510 cid limit, and must run stock "appearing pump". AND no this is not to a true farm stock class!!!

Well if not all .450 are created equal then who has the best? Ran them 10 years ago and had the best luck with stan johnson's. Just wondering if 10 years of technology helped the .450???

I intend on running the old 4010 injectors. The head has some porting/polishing and has 6030 valves. How many cc of fuel does the 450 and 540 put out? What kind of supply pump is needed? Thanks

I was wondering, whatever happened to the 404 motor that you bought the tractor with. Head, cam, etc?

Whats the best combo to get a 404 to 466? Could you just put a 3/4 stroke on the crank and then trim the top of your stock piston or would that leave too little metal for your ring groove? Can you swing a 5.5 crank in a 404 cam driven block?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience stroking a sbjd 404 motor to 466? Running 3000 rpm class and was curious if the add stroke helped any.

Dyno - 14 years ago
Just wonder how much money does it take to purchase and install a good dyno capable of handling the hp and torque of a competitive super farm. I am noticing more and more people getting them so I was just curious.

My advise to 4430fs if you are going to get a pump built go with a 11mm to 11.5mm A pump that should give you a nice range of fuel (285 -700cc). Turbo wise I am not real sure myself also looking for help with this.

We run a deere 466, 3000 rpm 50psi boost, 30 - 38 degrees of timing, 360 cc fuel with a 3LM 466 special (2.5x2.75) and it ran terrible. We had trouble runnig C1 and C2 in the 14000 class. What different housing are available for the 3lm 466. Also what is the best charger to run in this class? GT 42 or hx 50 or something different?
thanks
