Dale and Gary are the ones that need to be thanked. They put a lot of time and commitment into dairy days. I, like many others, only play a small role in helping them out with the event. Glad everyone enjoyed the show

As far as looking for a tractor pulling twice we did our best to enforce the one hook only. If anyone made it through they got lucky. For future thoughts it will be made clear that if a tractor is caught pulling in two classes; they will be banned for a year's period and all prize money will be forfeited back to the pull! We have become aware that a few pullers are not showing the respect of

Thanks for the correction. Wish i could have witnessed the pass.
So where is the tractor from and what is it running? Love the idea of a MF in the class! Maybe we could persuade him for cuba next year!

Ok with some further digging i think it might be David Mikkelson not Mikkelser, I found that we had a Carl Mikkelson from stoughton last year at Platteville.
Maybe he is from Monona?
Thats the best i can do to help

The sheet says David Mikkelser (City is very hard to make out, as was the name) Monawc? WI, 1100 MF
You know how well some people sign them selves in. And i'm sorry to say that i don't remember watching the tractor since it was the first of the night.

We've been running our N/A classes in SW WI(Cuba/Platteville/Potosi) between the 6-8mph lately @ 3000RPM and everyone seems to be within 5 foot from first to last place.
Just some food for thought

Depending on how the fall is going and if things work out that my pressed steel is allowed on the 4020 we could possibly make the road trip up.
Might ever get the big chair back on the ol girl! just doesn't feel right with the yellow JD seat.

Sorry Clark, I don't have the results at this moment and don't want to go off memory. Lots of iron and plenty of beer. Too bad Wyoming and Manchester choose to have their pulls the same night as Darlington's Badger State pull. UnderDog won't get to make the roadtrip down sitting the the seat this year; seeing how we'll most likely stay in Darlington after the afternoon sh

You know Mark, I think you could sell the same if not more beer this year if you get rained out! I think everyone would gladly party all night in celebration if it rained. Hoping for a good week/weekend for all you guys. See ya later in the week, should have both tractors over on Thursday. If you need anything this week help wise don't be afraid to drop me a line.

To whom it may concern-
I received a call today in regard to tractors having pressed steel wheels. I DO NOT have a issue with running them and will not turn reject a tractor from pulling because of having pressed steel wheels instead of cast iron wheels.
Thanks

I agree that they have a HOT FARM class Saturday night and i am not looking to cause conflicts, But there are a few Iowa tractors that have contacted me that do not run with Tri-state that would like to have a place to pull. They pulled with us last year also. Who am i to tell them No and that they need to pull Saturday night.
Sorry for the confusion

I too have felt the hurt from the sanity group about pressed steel wheels. Kinda disappointing that such a small factor could make them turn away tractors because they are worried that the pressed steel is a weight advantage. In my case running pressed steel wheels on my 4020 wasn't allowed while i still carry the factory wide front on my tractor instead of switching to a narrow to save weig
