Steelcraft Custom Fab in Colby, WI. Wayne has built many intakes for Light SuperStock tractors. A lot of the WI LSS guys have his intakes on their tractors.

I know of at least two very competitive light supers around the 5000# weight level. One's blue and one's red, so it can be done.

I've actually never pulled on dirt. Typically my brother is the pilot of our tractor, but the four times I got to (and one more coming up in September), it was on blacktop. If you look at my YouTube channel you can see a couple of our adventures on the blacktop.

No, the congrats is for YOU, cheese fan - you just made yourself look like a horses' ass. What ever happened to sportsmanship? I've been around this class for the last five years and not once have I heard the "blue ones" (or anyone else for that matter) brag about a win at a pull or winning the championship.
I just wish some people would realize what they're saying before they do

Are they running the Hot Farm/Farm pull on Friday? It was usually on a Saturday, wasnt it? I sure hope it's a 2-night show as I can't make it on Friday and I was really looking forward to going

Here's her info. She said she's retiring from this after this year so time is running out. We have one on our tractor and have had it for three years and no problems at all. A great lady to deal with and a wonderful supporter of our hobby.

Mark Peissig (The Bomb) and Marty Chandler (Deeply Hooked ). Their tractors both weigh less than 5,000 lbs. I'm sure they aren't the only ones, but two that I know for sure.

The pull in Unity was a huge success. A big THANK YOU to all who helped put it on, and those who came to pull and watch. We already have a few ideas for next year to make it better (more pit space, bigger staging area, more lights, etc.) Any other ideas or suggestions to make it better than it was (for those who attended or talked to someone who did), please let us know. I have a direct line to

Good question! I'm glad you brought that up. Actually, the NTPA show in July is at Monster Hall - this pull is actually in town in Unity, right off Hwy 13. right behind the American Legion hall on the south edge of town. Unity is only a mile long -- you really can't miss it.
The address of the location is 200 W 2nd Street, Unity, WI 54488. A Google search for that location gets you

I assume your post was supposed to be humorous, "FYI"...
I found a little bit of humor in it and vomited a little bit, too (because it was true...), and you're right in your diagnosis of this class. We COULD build a Ford with a 456 to compete in that class, but there would be some tractor racist down there finding some way to say it's illegal.

Double the points? That's not really fair to everybody else if you're from North Carolina, for example.
I think that everyone should be thrilled that the NTPA is expanding. It would be great to see some Grand National events in the South (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, etc). I bet there are a lot of guys from those areas that would love to have a few big events down there.

I just talked to a friend of mine from Fond Du Lac, and he said quote: "Good selection, shady guys, lots of issues...Look up on better business website, lots of complaints... I wouldn't do it."
He's a 27 year resident of FDL and has worked with a LOT of people there. I'd take his word for it. I'm not saying I would never do business there, just be careful of what you'r

top/middle/bottom - i think that's your choice. You want the fan mounted on the back of the radiator so when it's running it pulls the air through the radiator. you probably could put it on the front, but i know ours (and a few others I've seen) is mounted on the back. Whatever you do, don't try to push air through the radiator by mounting the fan backwards or wiring it wrong.

Hey guys...you're really doing a good job at turning away other pullers from coming and having a good time with your organization. We've never pulled in SW WI but would have loved to...until reading all of this. I feel sorry for the guys there who don't have anywhere else to pull (or can't afford the time or money to actually go somewhere). I'm from central Wisconsin and

Pulled once in 2003 with a farm tractor, went 130 feet and got laughed at, never tried it again till September 2009 and I went 20 feet farther than anybody in the first three classes that night. Looking forward to this coming season to silence those who think it's funny to laugh at a 14 year old...

I like this idea... we have a Ford 4cyl and it's tough to find a place to compete because of the opposition to it. We're not against pulling with the bigger tractors, but most of the time we'd have to add 3000# of weight just to do it.
I completely agree with the safety equipment at 3000+ RPM. Trying to limit the RPMs in the class is ridiculous and prone to cheating, but with ap

This tractor is from Iowa I believe - Have seen a couple pictures of it and I'd like to know - what model number is it? I swear I've seen it say 5466 on the side, but I dont recall IH making a 5466. I think Barfnecht has a 5588 (also not sure if IH made one of those). Any insight/knowledge on these two tractors? It doesnt really matter, I'm just curious
