Looking for V8 Cat 1140, 1145, 3140, or 3145 Motors or Cranks August 15, 2011 02:38AM
There were a ton of these motors used in the late 60's and early 70's in the 6000 series Ford Cab over medium duty trucks. These motors had 522 cubes. A lot of these motors were painted ford blue. Please let me know if you might know where to look or know of some places that might have them. Basically just looking for the cranks.....Please let me know....Thanks

dan,look up margala and sons,they are about 5 miles south of i80 in youngstown,ohio.they have lots of trucks from that era..

Also used in CAT Roller/packers, some types of cranes, and CAT Forklifts and Towmotors....I don't know if this helps any
