looking for old photos of my dad (jon) pulling cockshutt 50 back in 70's in ohio on ntpa circuit . any help be greatly appreciated.

And your last name would be ??? A further description of the tractor would be helpful. Gas or diesel? Color? Name on tractor? Single or dual front wheel? Which years?
Winter time is the best time for me to try to find time to search my 'archives'.

cronkleton is last name. it was gas super stock tractor with turbo and large carburator. tractor red like cockshutts are suppose be. started out as narrow front till ntpa enforced wide front end rule for safety then was a wide front tractor. 1974 started pulling ntpa 1979 0r 1980 was last time pulling ntpa. tractor never had name when pulled as ss in ntpa. hope that helps make easier for you.

arent the cronkletons still pulling in ohio,seen one on a case div5 not to long ago and another on a ck 40 or 50..

yea there few cronkletons in ohio pulling . family likes tractor pulling. case be larry . cockshutts would be jon and steve, then joe and joey pull jd 4010's

Sam West ran a Cockshutt SS back then,he was from the Greenfield Ohio - Highland County area..Not sure how National he ran or just ran the Ohio State circut..Sorry no pictures, or what size number..I remember hearing Sam was good at tuning turbo's..

Steve, that definitely helps. I made a copy of your reply. But, it'll get buried on my desk the next few months due to finishing "the PULLER" assignments plus a whole bunch of crops to harvest.
Do me a favor, please, and remind me in January to search my archives. Makes for good work on a cold snowy day. How interesting to talk like that with having an even 100 degrees on Friday!
