For the local farm classes, can they have hanging weight like the Sanity rules, or just bolt on wheel weights? Can they pull in 2 classes or limit to 1?
Thanks |

Going to allow hanging weights for safety reasons and you can pull in more than 1 class. |

Just show up Saturday morning and the parade lines up on Hayden RD on the west side of town. Some one will have a information card for you to fill out. The parade is broadcast on the Viroqua radio station and is also on the Vernon Communication TV channel. |

Let's hope they are right so you don't have to put the heathouser on the WD for the ride.Just to be safe anyone with extra room that could give Roger a ride I will have a couple of chicken dinners and T-shirts for you. Let's see if we can help the most famous WD puller in Southwest Wisconsin out. If you can't catch a ride Roger turn your tires around for the trip up and it might help put a edge on them. |

The ever famous avocasmokeywdalliss arrives safely in Retreat for the big pull next weekend. To honor Roger we are declaring it avocasmokey week honoring Roger as the most dedicated puller and fan we know. The WD will be on display all week leading up to the pull. Roger will be on hand Fri & Sat for pictures and autographs. The pulling season is about over so bring those pullers out and get one last pull in and thank Roger for the support he has given all us. |

I think we are going to through all the classes in a hat and just pick and go from there. If that doesn't work we will try some scientific thing and come up with a class order and post Friday night. Saturday afternoon classes just try to be there early. We are a small town with a 2-way parade and the tractor pull is in the middle of the parade route. We will wait and make sure everyone has made it into town before we start but if you could be here before noon that would really help. |

Is it OK to pull in antique and local farm? Example: someone brings a tractor that weighs 5000 pounds, can they pull it in antique and again in local farm. Either way is fine with me, just checking because I'm guessing it'll come up when signing in tractors.
Looking forward to tomorrow night, always a great event, we appreciate all the hard work put into it! |

Just wondering what the pull order was, I'm coming from Dyersville Ia and have at least a 2hr drive. Hoping to be in Retreat around 2:30, was hoping to pull my Duramax. |

You have stock gas trucks listed as Saturday night. What defines stock? And do you have an estimated time for them to pull? |

My favorite ? No weight brackets, license & if I SMELL RACING FUEL DQ.Time for pulling will depend on how many times the stock gas truck guys come up to me and ask how soon they will pull. The more they ask the later it gets. We will be mixing the tractor & truck classes Sat. night so the tractor guys can weight up. The last 2 classes will be unlimited 2wd then 4wd so the trucks won't be last. |

Well I need them to keep asking a lot then! I got cows to milk, so won't be available til after 7:30 or so. Based on previous years, is that gonna work? |

If I had to guess like years pass I would say after 7:30 would be a good bet. If you are coming for sure I will make sure stock gas trucks are after 7:30. With 48 classes in two days I can only give general times but we will do are best.Been getting a lot of calls & sounds like some very good iron coming. Saturday may have some of the best Super Farms around. |

I've never been there before. Is it obvious where to go once at Retreat? Sounds like the wife is gonna let me bring the binder pickup to pull, as a birthday present At what weight do the stock pickups pull? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/30/2011 04:07AM by kurtvtx. |

Last night was an awsome pull. Had 7 hours of pulling with only antiques. Many classes had 20 plus tractors, some may have had 30. I was at Ithaca last weekend and Retreat was run much better and LOTS more tractors. I was impressed with Jeff Parr and the Badgerland Sanity Pullers. |

They had a good pull Sat. night. For a small town in the middle of nowhere (no offense intended) they had good numbers and were well organized. Thanks for a good pull! |

Thank you to everyone that came and kept the show going. Special thanks to Brian Mikkelson and the SCWTP pullers for coming and being lined up and ready to go right away. Also to Brad if setting in the sled for that many hours and coming out in a good mood.Matt & Denny Butler,The Kinney Boys(the smiley brothers),avocasmokey,Keith Durst,Lynn Jasper & her friend,Roger Tollefson,Rick Maker,Jeff Fortney and anyone I missed.
A very special THANK YOU to my sister-in-law Jan Clark for all her help my boys Jared & Brandon who can watch and help with antiques until 1:30 in the mourning and get up by themselves and have young cattle chores done by themselves, but can't get up to get on the bus. And to my wife Bonnie who puts up with us,helps all year putting this pull together, and supports this disease of tractor pulling. |

I know I thanked you last night Jeff, but I just wanted to thank everyone else who was involved in putting such a great pull together. I cannot imagine the planning that a pull of this magnitude takes to put on. There was a good variety for everyone to watch and enjoy, I will look forward to next year THANKS AGAIN Jason |

If they did fall asleep it was good because the crowd was well rested for Saturday and drank like fishes and ate like there was no tomorrow and THAT IS WHAT PAYS THE BILLS. |
