If this is the same or bigger than last year, it'll be worth the drive!
Take the insulated Carharrts and get ready to have a blast!!

Re: Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull, Kirksville, MO October 1st September 24, 2011 12:12PM
We have people calling from all over, looks to be shaping up to be as big if not bigger then last year. Hopefully the carhartts wont be necessary but I would have them in the vehicle just in case.

Re: Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull, Kirksville, MO October 1st September 24, 2011 12:34PM
What does Pro Street 4x4 and Pro Stock 4x4 pay? Can Pro Streets jump up to Pro Stock? Does Pro Street 4x4 have to run OEM transmission?

Re: Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull, Kirksville, MO October 1st September 24, 2011 02:59PM
Not sure on payout, but yes only oem transmission in pro street, and the prostreets ran with the prostocks at this pull last year, so id guess theyd be able to this year.

Re: Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull, Kirksville, MO October 1st September 25, 2011 12:16PM
I am Pro Street but, I have an aftermarket transmission. Hmmm, that's a long way to drive to have to pull against another 15 cubes, weight bar and aftermarket heads.

Sorry cant stray from the rules this is the last points hook for these guys, would'nt be fair. Plus this would be IAMO's call not the promoters.

No doubt, the rules should be upheld to the letter. not asking for special prveliges. Just thinking aloud(so to speak).

Thanks!

The Adair County Young Farmers and Iowa-Missouri Truck and Tractor Pullers have had an overwhelming response to this year's event. Through the hard work of several pullers, fans, staff, and association members, the pull is going to be able to feature an additional two classes:

6,000# Open Super Stock Tractors. At press time there is $600 to win. This class will be set up on entry like the Texas Hold'em Diesel 4x4 class. $50 buy in and the more tractors the more prize money. Please call you email if you have any questions or to pre register for this class.

10,000# Pro Field Tractors. $250 in prize money at press time with a $20 Hook Fee. 3,500 rpm for 466 c.i. and down with tractors over 466 c.i. limited to 3,000 rpm. Fair Valley Performance Datalog box will be used to enforce the rpm limit.

These classes are being added to the full Iowa-Missouri Pullers Show which includes The Open with $500 to 1st place, an 8,200# Diesel Super Stock Tractor Shoot Out Class with $2,500 in prize money, the Texas Hold'em Diesel 4x4 Class, three 5 mph classes sponsored by Pure Purple Performance Soy Diesel, and 4 local Gas and Diesel Truck Classes.

For more information please call 660-247-1397 or 660-341-7445 or email iamorep@yahoo.com

See you at the pull!

Re: 10,000# Pro Field September 28, 2011 12:23PM
There have been a lot of calls asking about the 10,000# Pro Field Class. Just an overview, 10,000# 466ci and smaller 3,500rpm and 467ci to 640ci at 3,000rpm. Fair Valley Performance Datalog RPM monitor will be used to record the class. This is not an IAMO sanctioned class. If you have a new injection pump or turbo that you would like to try, install it, come on to Kirksville and turn it loose! Sign in for Tractor Classes will start at 3:30pm. See you at the pull!

Re: Adair County Young Farmers Truck and Tractor Pull, Kirksville, MO October 1st September 30, 2011 03:33AM
Just a reminder for those coming to Kirksville .

This year the new bypass is nearing completion. Use Hwy 11 East (middle of town Oeilys and Hy-vee Junction) off of hwy 63.

1st gate at the fairgrounds for pullers. The nemo fair in july we use the 2nd gate No carnival so it is opened up. If you miss the gate use the 2nd plenty of room to loop you around.

The IAMO crew will have a Motor home, tent set up for entry. (not the crows nest). East side by scales. You can sign up and get your armbands.

Make shure you give Charisse and the crew a completed sheet at sign up. If you are not a IAMO member.Take the time to complete paperwork! We use computer tracker pull system. That way we can post pull order, class line up and results.

Charisse plans on cutting checks. If you want her to mail it no problem.

Some pullers in the past want to donate winnings or a portion of, back to the Adair county young farmers, Let them know.
They are putting that money in to young Pullers and farmers, with scholarships.
Thanks for your support
Mike

Tracks looking great, weather looks to be good, maybe a little chilly after the sun goes down, so bring your jackets and gloves. Hope everyone can come and join us!!! We will have a huge variety of vehicles attending from antique/classic 5mph tractors to Diesel Super Stocks and from Pro Street 4x4's to Semis. Remember to show up early and get signed in if you are pulling.
