Georgetown, OH Live Audio (with Larry Richwine) October 01, 2011 02:28AM
Hello all:

For one more night (Saturday), we're broadcasting live to the internet from the Brown County Fair Tractor Pull beginning at 7p. Airtime and the web presence have been graciously provided free-of-charge by the folks at www.ipadio.com, which is a phone-to-internet service designed for corporate conferencing, audio-blogging, and live broadcasting.

During or after tonight's phonecast, please contribute your observations on how well ipadio worked for you, how the broadcast sounds, etc.

Be sure to click on the "Live Broadcast" Play button. If you get there early, a gray box will say "Not Broacasting Right Now." The green play button will appear once the broadcast is initiated around 7p.

Tonight's challenge: Count the number of times Larry (while courageously bringing you all of the modified and light super stock action from in front of a glassless 10-foot-wide window with the breeze blowing in) uses the phrase "freakin' cold" (or less FCC-friendly variants). The over/under is 12.

Thanks to Larry, pull chairman Bob Neal, Julie, and the folks at the Little State Fair for all the cooperation this week. And thanks to you for listening.

Supposed to get to the upper 30s. Hope my cell phone doesn't freeze.

Jon
