All the pump shops sell them. I made my own mount for a tuthill 6 gpm [silvercreekanimalhospital.com]

Anyone every try a Haldex hydraulic pump? Like a model#10567 which is a 6 to 8gpm pump? Thinking of front mounting it off the crank

Re: Supply pump November 27, 2011 02:21AM
Iam new to this but why not just use a low psi electric ??

Re: Supply pump November 27, 2011 02:21AM
haldex pump worked great off the crank, at 3000 rpm, nice that it is out of the way, but did not like open rpm.
I have a drive hub to bolt to stock dampner to couple haldex if interested. 920-680-8500

Tuthil works great I have a used drive And pump on forsale page with other parts also

Re: Supply pump December 05, 2011 06:29AM
Is a Tuthill 1LE big enough for a 450cc pump? Looks like their 3-6gpm

Re: Supply pump November 27, 2011 03:58PM
for the guys who run a mechanical pump or one of the haldex's, where do you guys regulate the pressure? Between the pusher pump and the inj pump, or after the inj pump back to the tank?

Re: Supply pump November 28, 2011 02:02AM
But what is the advantage of a mechanical pump over electric inline ??

Re: Supply pump November 28, 2011 03:39AM
Reliability-many guys have told me how they have spent as much on electric ones as they wouldve had in a good mechanical one. They keep burning them up. I guess its the old do it right the first time. I know there are a lot of electric ones out there. You also can have a lot more flow and pressure with a mechanical one, if you need it.

Call muller machine. I think he sells a pump called aviad. Good pump never had any problems with it. Has mount bracket and drive with it.

Re: Supply pump November 30, 2011 01:37PM
Reading the ntpa rules and the new one is that we have to be able to take a fuel sample with the engine OFF. How is anyone going to do this with a mechanical pump?

Re: Supply pump December 01, 2011 08:40AM
You put a tee in your suppy line before in goes into the pump, then use a ball valve on the tee and you have your sample.
You can also run a small line from your tank with a ball valve and do the same, either way it will gravity flow so you can get a sample.
