super stock radiator October 19, 2011 06:04AM
I'm running an old super and would like to put a new radiator in it to save weight. What would work good? Is their a certain size of tank I need? Thanks for the help.

I asked a similar question not that long ago and here is the link to that thread. I don't think there is any sizes mentioned though.

I guess all we can do is hope someone has a idea.

What I do is look at other peoples stuff.
I try to look at the ones running at the front of the class.
I have noticed one Jacked up semi runs a really small aluminum radiator, and he is close to 900 cubic inches and multi charger.
A pretty Intimidating IH runs a small aluminum race car looking radiator. Could have seen that with the hood and side shields clear off of it at the end of the track at Spencer a few years ago. (Don't touch that smoldering stuff on the ground, it is hot)
