I was just wondering if they ever had a Dt 466 in a 1066 from stock?. I Have a 414 in it now and im kinda more looking to go to the 466 for more power and of course the better fuel pump. thanks to anyone that has any input |

The only difference between the two motors is the stroke. |

466 and 414 are in the same block, in the same bore, under the same head for most intents and puposes. There are some differences in heads internally. As for the fuel system on a tractor in a stock class you will still be limited to the rotary pump. An inline was never offered on a 66 series tractor. If you need fuel go with a hyper 15mm. They have the best durability, but they cost the most up front. There are others out there that may be cheaper to start with but they will cost more in the long run, plus you will miss some pulls due to being broke. Hyper is the best and over the long haul it will be the cheapest. |
