what are the most common speed gear ratios used on a IH 3000 rpm, 3 inch turbo, p-pump tractor with t/a and 20.8. Pulling in Illinois if tracks matter.

That really depends on what CI you are, 466 1,2 over will be plenty of gear
640 or bigger your going to need at least 3 over most of the time

It depends on everything. Weight, tires, CI, Turbo, when your engine makes power. Sometimes low power tractors in a slow gear win. Tracks make a big difference too.

22-1, 21-1,20-1, 19-1 final ratios depends on how much power you have. To be at the top you gotta horse and 19-1 and no slower than a 20-1.
