A 8000 has a 4.94 planetary ratio and a 4.875 i believe is the ring gear and pinion and a tw has 5.625. thats a pretty heavy set-up you may want to consider a 4000 rearend for a twd. you will need to reverse the ringear in the rearend if you are running your power straight through and not using a trans with a countershaft. the 4000 you don't have to reverse the ringear it loads from the proper side. the ford a66 wheel loader has the right parts to work the way it should you don't have to reverse anything it is the same as an 8000 with the teeth in the opposite direction which is right for a straight through application. I have a a66 center section all it needs is axles which you can use 8000 axles. here is my email if your interested. it won't be till next week thought i am on vacation. matbro64@yahoo.com

It is already in a pickup. Its one of them deals where she bought it from him, he bought it from her now Im buying from him..
All the guy knows about it is it is a ford 8000 or 9000 rearend .But 90% sure 8000. I needed to know ratio because we will be
running a allison automatic and just needed to know if it would work with out changing things right away.. Thanks
