Can a john deere 466 industrial engine fit in a 4430 or would a ag engine be better and what would i have to do. Thanks

466 ag has a bigger motor mount pattern and bolts. would have to make revision to the frame, otherwise it should work. not sure on industrial.

Dimensionally, the blocks are the same, like said before, the bolt pattern to mount to frame a little different on front mounts, the rear same place just bigger bolts. The blocks are a little heavier in weight, but most of that in in the area of the motor mounts. Have used both types and have broken both, don't feel there is any durability advantage to the industrial over the ag.
