will and should others follow mid south llss lead? February 22, 2012 02:41AM
When looking at competitors running in other areas of the country, maybe some other groups should consider doing a similar class change as mid south has done? Take Wisconsin for example, for the last few years most of their competitors in the heavy super class are light class pullers moving up to fill the gap. Making a change to similar to mid south may gain them new members and tractors?

Thats the same organizations that have pullers constenly whining and crying about everyone else and are always out to cry about other tractors even before they hit the track. Look for alot of the true pullers to get fed up and migrate to Mid-South and leave the same ole brush assns behind. Everyone has heard the crying and read it in black and white on here. Everytime a LLSS puller starts a rant on here, the rest of us shake out head in discuss. Mid-South is a very credible organization that will bring alot of much needed credibility to our class.

I'm looking forward to having the LLSS run in the Mid-South. Would love to see other organizations pick them up.

Mid south picked up llss to help there numbers, that's it. Good luck w it!! I can't wait for some of the guys w non running lss start to cry when the llss start to get there money, kinda sad a sf won the 8super points.

While it is sad that a Super Farm won the 8,000 points, you also have to take a look at how many TRUE 8,000 lb Supers run that class in the Mid-South. It also helps if you make every hook of the class (which John Pitt did)--look how many blank spots there are on the points list. Really, the class is just an opportunity for the Mid-South pullers to try to figure out their kinks. Interesting to note that they were thinking of consolidating the Light and the Heavy classes to just run a 7,000 lb class.
