Combining Diesel Classes
|
As most of you all know California does not have the numbers that the mid west has pulling in each class. We currently have a super farm class and a 7200lb mod class that the couple of pro stock/limted pro tractors are allowed to compete in. In effort to make a better show from a spectator's standpoint and to try to draw a line of what can run with what, i'm asking for some opinion's and thoughts. After looking over the 2012 NTPA rule book for both classes the super farm rule reads"Super Farm tractors are allowed to compete under their own divisional rules and regulations (excluding weight) in the HPS,PS,LPS and SS classes at the regional level" my questions is what is the weight factor? Will this work on a completive level? |

The weight factor is whatever the class is. Example the SS class is 8000#, that would be the weight all competitors would weigh regardless of their vehicle
type. In your example the weight would be 7200#, no extra weight given to anyone. This is how it works in the NTPA. |

Are you running NTPA or just using their rules? If not NTPA check out how the East Coast pullers run the combo for Super stock and pro stocks. It seems to be working. Check the Eastern Extreme web site. |
