I know this has been on here before, but when a buddy of mine used a helm pump and hyd cylinder, he had to turn the wheel a lot(15+) of times from one end to the other. What set up do I need so I will not make the same mistake |

Call pobar he has cylinder and steering pump that is all self contained and no need for a pump to provide pressure |

instead of 1.5 cu in helm get a 2.5 helm pump |

Depending on make The cheap and easy route is to use a hand pump out of a 706 (2 lines instead of 4), add a T with a pioneer fitting and ball valve shutoff, charge with another tractor, close your valve and be dunzo can't steer with one finger but does the job! |

would a 4 line hand pump work the same way just plug supply and return ports? |
Re: steering

I will trade you a 2 line (706 style) for your 4 line (9-1066 style) |
