South Central WI Tractors May 22, 2012 10:30AM
I am looking for tractor pulls in South Central, WI (Sauk area) with pulling classes from 9500Turbo to 12500 Turbo stock farm class. I dont mind driving an hour and a half or so to attend a pull. If you could leave a reply with a contact number or website/rule info.

I have checked the SCWTP page, they do not yet have the 2012 schedule posted. I have checked with them before but they only post pulls they go to and no contact numbers for those pulls and not all of their pulls have my class.

Alot of pulls in sw wisc have classes in the range Cuba City, darlington, Lancaster, Richland center ,Platteville, Potosi, etc.

I have seen Badger Sanity and actually tried pulling against them last year. They wouldnt allow me to pull my 1066 with stamped steel rims. I dont know if they have changed the rules since last Oct. but I wasnt pleased with the fact i drove to Richland Center and they wouldnt let me pull, basically a wasted trip, when they didnt post the rules anywhere that I could find. Not trying to bash them alot of tough tractors in those classes alot of Altered's in that 12K and 13K. Was a nice pull to watch

I found Iron Anchors? Not sure if anyone knows anything about that group?

I too have felt the hurt from the sanity group about pressed steel wheels. Kinda disappointing that such a small factor could make them turn away tractors because they are worried that the pressed steel is a weight advantage. In my case running pressed steel wheels on my 4020 wasn't allowed while i still carry the factory wide front on my tractor instead of switching to a narrow to save weight. But they are working to be a sound group which i give them credit for.
