Running a 15 mm hyper rotary pump and cannot seem to get any smoke or rpms. Do you need to change the return fuel check valve or any other suggestions. Thanks

Yes it is teed in at the second fuel filter.

I take it ,it is a new pump? Does it start good without either,especially when hot? The fitting on the back of the pump is a orfice not a check valve.There are different sizes.but probably not the problem,

Yes we have a guage on it and we bought the pump used. It starts with no ether all the time. Is the check valve behind the fuel filters or right at the pump. Thanks

I'd say you are either not getting enough supply to the injection pump or you are burning everything that that pump can put out. I'd suspect a supply issue or the supply pump is to small first.

How big of injectors do you have?

On the back of the pump head (return to tank) there is a small orfice return for bleeding air and maybe cooling. The camshaft or tappet could be worn and not getting the stroke?

You have to have the stock line going to t Second you have to have the belt driven supply pump to get the volume to the pumphe head of the pump
