Diesel only R N December 10, 2010 01:05AM
I see the NTPA is going to offer a diesel only Super Stock class at the regional level.
Will this kill the few alcohol tractors that run on the region?
Did the diesel guys cry to get this class, or is daddy DAVE just hearing
a few whiners in region 3? Is this really better for the heavy RN SS class overall?
I don't think the numbers are there to support a split in the class at this time.

Re: Diesel only R N December 10, 2010 01:20AM
If I heard correctly both classes will be offered to the promoters, so it shouldn't kill the alcohol tractors. BTW who would be the diesel guys that are crying and whining, that you speak of?

Re: Diesel only R N December 10, 2010 02:27AM
is this going to be offered on all the R.N... or just reigon 3?

Dave Schreier is a loser! December 10, 2010 04:35AM
It will kill the classes. There are not enough tractors to split the class. There is not enough of each tractor to constitute splitting them. Dave said at the meetings that the best thing that ever happened was the splitting of the two fuels and the both classes were on the rebound. Really Dave, what classes have you been watching? The diesels are killing each other and the alcohol guys, what did you have this year 4-6 at each hook? I don't see the guys in R2 whining and crying. Keith Middleton has stepped up and delivered, Roger Earley did, Chris Gettinger did. The guys in R3 need to put their big boy panties on and run. No one made them build a diesel and just because you have a tractor doesn't mean you have the right to win or even be competitive. This is just Dave taking care of his buddies. The people that were at the meetings know who the cry babies were/are.

Re: Dave Schreier is a loser! December 10, 2010 04:53AM
Well... there you have it.
All we really need to do is vote Dave out and elect Buckin Nuts in his place. Being he has all the answers and directions, everyone would quit anyway. No matter where you stand on any issue, it would solve all pulling issues period.

Re: Dave Schreier is a loser! December 10, 2010 05:19AM
The only thing that is changing is that the diesel inv. pulls will be for points now. the state pulls will still be mixed and the promoters will still have a choice if they want mixed or diesels only at there RN shows. like bustin nuts said nobody made them build a diesel, but, nobody made the deere boys build alkys either. maybe being a points class it will get some of the tractors in iowa? maybe there is some outlaw guys that are mad at outlaw and will run NTPA being split? we will find out in about 7 months.

Re: Dave Schreier is a loser! December 10, 2010 05:43AM
Well let em keep sqabbaling only to be replaced by the up and coming light pro class

Re: Dave Schreier is a loser! December 10, 2010 07:29AM
And with a name like Buckin Nuts you hold alot of credibility. You may just as well tell us who the whiners are, you won't be out anything.

Re: Diesel only R N December 10, 2010 05:40AM
It is offered to all regions as a point class.

light pro 540 cubes December 10, 2010 06:20AM
any word on light pro stock in wis or mn or reg3??

Re: light pro 540 cubes December 10, 2010 06:40AM
Its kinda funny how things go in cycles. Starting to revert back in time on some of these classes. SS diesel and alcohol are on the road to bankrupting themselves at least on the GN . Watched a GN SS open class in Monroe MI , poor show , bad sled setting on a tough track detroyed half the class and the couple of diesels that were there didn't have a chance.

The big money didn't want limitations and soon they will be pulling against themselves, just about happend up in Vermont this year.

Re: light pro 540 cubes December 10, 2010 06:41AM
bring all the light pros you can find. the can run in the super stock class. bonus for all. another class, more disel super #'s, and more in general super #'s.

Re: light pro 540 cubes December 10, 2010 07:25AM
That's all we need another class of 5 or 6 tractors. Just like the Pro-farm class in Minnesota.

Re: light pro 540 cubes December 10, 2010 07:41AM
Yeah because the cheese heads got it all figured out. whatever

back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 08:05AM
does anyone have more info on what regions it is, all regions or just 3 or 3 and 5? does any one know the pulls that are having just the diesel class? are the State promoters given this choice of is it just RN? everyone got off on a tangent and we dont even know what is all going on yet.

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 08:19AM
I believe it is for region 3 and 5

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 08:34AM
are all the Diesel only pulls last year going to have the new points class for 2011? rockwell, hutch, norwalk ect.???

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 09:30AM
How many Diesal tractors are actually out there, who are the names of these guys and will they support it.

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 09:50AM
On the NTPA website, The way I understand.
It is listed for all regions

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 02:24PM
we plan on supporting region HSS and DSS

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 10, 2010 11:13PM
you want names here you go
adam vaske, trevor miller, bruce and roger, jeff rose, pete mcgiffin, guy blechanger, nick dahl, rod gapinski, tyler brockmeyer, possibly hovden there you have it ladies and gentleman 8-10 tractors

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 11, 2010 12:42AM
the Diggenhart boys, maybe randy becker, dave henderson, ken witt. maybe esdon will run some RN Dsl hooks, he made a few state hooks a couple years ago.

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 11, 2010 02:23AM
Can't say whether this helps or hurts the above topic, but I am nearly finished with a Heavy Superstock Diesel that will run the region 3 circuit. It would be nice to run against other diesels as long as there are enough tractors to support the class, but if there aren't I'm sure rules will be altered like usual that will allow tractors of both bloodlines to co-exist on the same track.

Re: back to the subject dsl RN class December 11, 2010 03:20AM
Are you still needing a 1566 ring and pinion??

to neilsroom December 11, 2010 07:12AM
how many chargers? how many cubes? chassis? color? glad to see more supers in RN 3!!!!

Re: to neilsroom December 13, 2010 02:47AM
sitting back and reviewing this split: 1) does this give promoters a chance to book top-fuel tractors only as well? 2)is this best for the sport? isn't this superstock pulling? Pick your flavor and build it not build it and then ask the class to change or split! you want diesel only here: Prostock, Superfarm, Limited/light pro, Profarm not enough go brush pullin!
Poor choice by ntpa, how does segregation help? what we need is unity and support to help keep this sport alive and you've just slapped loyal region and state supporters in the face.

PS. As a promoter and to promoters: book the show that will offer as many tractors as possible, your crowd will thank you!

my 2cents!

Re: to neilsroom December 13, 2010 12:04PM
The only offered classes for RN SS will be both fuel types together (heavy SS) or just diesel only SS.

Re: to neilsroom December 13, 2010 01:58PM
doesn't say on the ntpa website for all regions, up to promoter if they want it???? Why all the talk??

Re: to neilsroom December 13, 2010 03:24PM
Heard the REAL reason was Goodwin wants to come back NTPA pulling, and wants diesel only, good chance I(owa)TPA will come back as a member state if it happens.

Outlaw DSS owners December 13, 2010 10:46PM
would the OUTLAW DSS tractors have any interest in this going to diesal only region 3 or 5.

Re: Outlaw DSS owners December 15, 2010 06:19AM
doubtfull, outlaws pay scale is way better then RN NTPA pay. But you never know with all the stuff said on here about Outlaw. AV could probably tell you if any will jump to NTPA.

Re: Outlaw DSS owners December 15, 2010 06:31AM
All points runners from 2010 will do the same I assume for 2011.

Us, Boeckmann, Hovden, Henderson, and maybe Demers (if not GN) would be the tractors you would see at some outlaws and some ntpa events throughout the year.
