SPRINGVILLE TRACTOR PULL 8/10/12 August 03, 2012 09:55AM
The Springville Tractor Pullers Association will be having their annual Truck and Tractor pull August 10 starting at 6:30 sharp. The East Central Iowa Tractor pullers will be putting on the event. In addition to the entire ECI show there will also be multi-engine and turbine modifieds from the Wisconsin Pullers Association, Semi Tractors and a Super/Pro Stock Shoot out paying $1,000 to win. The event is located north of the elementary school in Springville Iowa. This event has grown each year and is one of the best shows in the area. There is always a great turnout of competitors from around the midwest and we hope to see you there. We have added Blown 2 wheel drive pickup class, lots of interest in super pro , if your super farm or above give it a try 1000.00 to win. As stated in a different post we may hat draw for super pro if short of those type of tractors, ground's are coming together nicely, improved pit parking. Come join us for a pull you will be glad you went to. At the end of the evening we will feature John Johnson's old spark throwing steamer, we hope to see you there.

We did our initial track work last night and the track is going to be bitty and tough. Our blue clay will sort out the women from the girls and the men from the boys. Come out and enjoy Springville, you will not be disappointed.

It is an East Central Iowa Pullers sanctioned event for everything except 2WD Trucks and the Super/Pro Stock Shoot out. ECI rules will still apply to the trucks just like in the ECI open class and the rules for the Super/Pro are Tri-State's. We hope to see you there.

The admission is $10.00, ages 6 -12 $ 5.00, 5 and under free a pit pass is $20.00 plenty of seating, beautiful day here track looks great, we are ready for a great event. Come and join us 6:30 start, sounds like alot of iron showing up, will be a good time for all ages.

Want to say thank you to all spectators and competitors who once again helped make the Springville fun days tractor and truck pull and IMRA mud run a huge success. We are looking forward to next years event.
