Where is it that you pull at? What are the rules? You have a very good start with what you have.

Re: building a 3000rpm August 21, 2012 02:28PM
im in nebraska and the rules are: 3lm,466 out of the box,2 5/16" intake with a 2.750x3.5 bolt pattern. 466cu,[ water to air,air to air (whats the mean)]
A pump 10mm plunger. Thanks for any info. Im knew at this.

Water to air or air to air usually refers to an intercooler....What organization can you run an intercooler at in Nebraska??

Northeast Nebraska pullers association. Thanks for the info

Probably will need at least a 4 disk to get good life from your clutch. I am guessing with a box stock 3lm on a 466 you will be running c3-c4 if you get it tuned right. If you are stuck with that small pump you will probably get most power with 5x.025 injectors and more timing than you should probably run for a 3000rpm tractor that will give you mosthp but less torque a good intercooler will help a lot with that though.

I like your rules, 466 CID and that small turbo you should not out grow your clutch and transmission.

Re: building a 3000rpm August 22, 2012 01:28PM
We run a deere 3000 rpm, 3lm box turbo same rules as you just up and across the river. Get a good 10 mil pump, some good injectors 4x24 will work good, some 93 lines and a decent cam will help. Play with the pump timing until you find the sweet spot and the next problem you will have is you will need a taller gear.

4x24 injectors will put u behind right out of the box most guys are running 5x20 or 22's now good cam will help proly will want to beef up the clutch also

Re: building a 3000rpm August 26, 2012 12:20AM
The 4x24 are fairly common. With a 3lm turbo do you really need 5x20 or 5x22 ?

Did you find the parts you were looking for? I might have some extras.

Re: building a 3000rpm September 23, 2012 12:44AM
Got 6-5x22's if interested. I'll see if there for sale. Wouldn't work the way we wanted them to on a GT 42. May work on a 3lm.

How much?

Re: building a 3000rpm September 23, 2012 03:11PM
How much boost from the turbo would work good for the 5-22's and how much cc of fuel.

Re: building a 3000rpm September 24, 2012 02:27PM
I'll check on price and get back to you. I'm in field so it might be a few days. We run 500 cc with a GT-42

To jd3000, I'll take $200 for the 5-22 injector nozzles. I take for granted you have injector bodies. If you want to talk to me call 641 425 2917, after 8:00 in the morning and before 5:00 in the after noon, central time.
