2012 ESP rules will be the same as nytpa , the one day sign in and ins. reg. will be 50$ and hook fee 30$ yearly dues are 450$ a newsletter will be coming in regards to refunds etc. for current members . Hope this answers some of the questions. Thanks Henry Everman

how do you know what the weight is ? now that you are on your own wouldn't you have to vote on rules? not to sound like some of the other people on here but does esp have their own rule commitee. what happens if their is a problem who fixes it. also are the mod rules the same or is their going to be a different rule on motor configurations. good luck

Last rules for NYTPA on line (2010 edition) gives their Super Stock class weight limits as follows--
7500 lbs. Alcohol tractors up to 504 cu.
8000 lbs. Alcohol tractors under 410 cu.
8500 lbs. Alcohol tractors up to 504 cu with cast iron heads
8500 lbs. Diesel Super Stocks
9000 lbs. Pro- Stock Diesels

I do not know if they have changed- if not ESP gives Alcohol tractors at 504 cu 500 lbs more weight in their heavy Super class.

at the last meeting it was decided that esp will follow the "existing rule book"
as in the current ppl/esp/nytpa book for 2012.

NYTPA ss rules


alkie 7700 max 504 with aluminum head

alkie 8000 max 504 with cast head

alkie 8500 under 410 cast or aluminum head

diesel SS tractors that have 30.5 x 32 8500

diesel tractors under 30.5 x 32 with 1 charger (single stage) is 9000

max 4 chargers

max tire size is 30.5 x 32 with 210" @ 10 psi

NYTPA WILL BE LOOKING CLOSE ALL YEAR LONG AT THIS AND ANY CHANGES WILL BE TALKED ABOUT TO THE PULLERS BEFORE ANY RULE CHANGES.
THE PULLERS WILL VOTE ON THE CHANGES IF ANY ARE MADE.

NYTPA AT THIS TIME DOES NOT OFFER A LSS CLASS.

so what you are saying if some one was to have a set of 28.4 x 32 metric pulling tires you could run them on a single stage diesel tractor @ 9000 lbs
