This years Midwest Winter Nationals event at Gordyville USA will be January 3-4-5, 2013. We started sending out applications last week and they should be all sent out by the end of this week. The schedule is very similar to last year.
Rules have changed a little in our Super Farm class, instead of the previous "NTPA-Outlaw" class we have ran, we are running a NON intercooled class with slotted 3 x 3 turbochargers, similar to the National Farm Machinery show rules. We still have a the PPL Super Farm class on Friday night, the non intercooled guys are welcome to jump in there as well. This will allow the guys heading to Louisville a chance to run their slotted turbos on a short track, before the NFMS. The 9,500 Limited Pro Stock class (4.1) turbocharger rules have changed as well. In the past we allowed slotted turbos, because the Outlaw group ran them all summer. This year all groups have got on the same page and all run a smooth bore turbochargers. We will follow their lead for 2013. If anyone would like for us to send them an application or has any questions feel free to give us a call at 309-353-7034, or drop me a line at klinttucker@whatssmokin.net. We are looking forward to another great winter. Thanks Klint Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/19/2012 08:02AM by Jake Morgan. |

Yes, the tractor with intercoolers on cant shift under the green flag in the 10PF, it is alright in all other classes. Thanks Klint |

If I stage a couple of TO-4's can I shift my TA before I turn on my water pump for my intercooler? Or can I run water injection in front of the intercooler and turn on my water pump to my intercooler at the line. I think i can get it to lite if my ether squitter can stand beside the tractor while I take off. He is willing to wear a firesuit and fullface helmet! Thanks Klint we are so excited to come to your event. |

Was wondering if you were going to have those port-a-potties for sleeping in again this year? |

I have added several videos to our video section. We have received several calls asking if we are having a Light Super class this year at Gordyville. The answer is yes, we just haven't worked out all the details. Thanks Klint |

I think the regional super class would have a good showing. It may have been stronger the year they had it if it were not -23° |
