early 1800 is not pressure lubed you want to stay with late 1800,1750,1850 altho they are a bit heavier.
If your building one I may have some parts for you. |

We used the earlier 1800 on our SF and changed the bottom pinion and gears to the later style. We added a Holley 1500 fuel pump and are oiling the pinion shaft and both bull pinions. Works great, be glad to share information. |

It should....I believe Cory was running twin chargers on his. Also, Jeff Dachel was running a 478+ Hercules on alcohol with 2 big twins back in the 2000 - 2004 etc. time frame Dan Dunham |

Who knew that oliver rear and tubs were so popular. I should probably list the three I have one has the 2255 tub, one has a 2-105 tub and one with a tube frame. I have a complete 1650 rearend torn down to the hull, it is a former puller, sold and the guys took it apart and then decided to go with a different setup and traded it back. Have a couple of cats running takeouts as well as a 8.3 cummins. If anyone wants any of it or all of it, let me know. |

Wisconsin....He used to run a pretty hard running 2050 Oliver running a Herc with twins on alcohol back in the early 2000's...He won the LSS in Tomah with it in 2000 or 2001 and all with a 1650 rear. I believe he had a needled 4 spider diff in it that he made for it. Dan Dunham |

Gee willekers! How you a gonna carry 7 hunert pounds all at once?
I kin only carry about 50 pounds at once. Now my wife Lena kin carry a couple hunnert pound weights at a time, so I let her put the weights onna tractor. I think it is nice of me to keep her involved like that. That way she don't get bored from cooking and cleanin and waxin the tractor and sweeping out the hauler and keepin the coolers stocked and gettin groceries and chargin the batteries, and airin up the tires and checkin line up and gettin me a registered and cleaning up my drivin suit and makin sammiches, adjustin the hitch, movin weights dependin on track conditions, filmin the runs, keepin track of what place I'm in, gettin the check, and makin more sammiches, dustin off the tractor before she winches it in the trailer, pre trip inspects the hauler, and fixes any lights that aint workin', rubs my sore feet from them funny drivin shoes and then has the nerve to sleep onna way home. |
