Pulling Classes-please look them over October 04, 2012 01:33AM
I have talked to many pullers in the last couple days especially in open farm and antique classes, please look at the classes and make sure I have everything covered. I will make a class if you think you can get us at least 6 in the class. Thanks for all the calls. I have notes that one group wants 3.5 mph and one group wants 4mph Antique class. In the past I have said Open Antique 1st Gear only, Open RPM, so the way I have it set up right now is just 3.5 and 4 mph classes, Do I need both? My goal is to have 2 classes that you can pull your vehicle in. Call me 608-604-5068 Jason Schultz

Pulling Order October 04, 2012 01:41AM
Early Next Week-I will post the pulling order, if you have conflicts and it works better for your class to be a little later or earlier, please let me know, I will work with people that give me notice. I won't change the order after the middle of next week.

Goal is to pull from 4pm-8pm and then start the truck/car drags at 830pm on the pulling track.

Remember Garden Tractors American Mini Pullers Start at 2pm on the inside pit track next to the Jess Dull Building, Middle Track will be the Speedboard Track and the grand stand track will be the non speedboard track. Tri County Mini Rods will start at 6pm or right after the garden tractors finish, if they run a little late.

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 04, 2012 12:03PM
any chance 9000 open farm could get bumped up to 9500?

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 04, 2012 05:03PM
i say run 3.5 mph for the antique open rpm how about a 4500 ant 3.5 mph open rpm but i dont if we can get ten tractorsor do 50003.5 mph antique must places run 3.5 mph and its even playing field

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 04, 2012 05:39PM
no need for both a 3.5 and 4.0. but I know you don't really wanna run a tire rule, but just for those 2 classes, no 18.4x38 would be nice for the more stockish stuff. that'll effect the class size more than the speed will, in my opinion anyways. 5000 and 6000 or add a 5500 if you don't mind having 3 classes, 2 hooks per tractor like you said. safe RPM's for what your tractor can handle and keep it at the speed and those classes should be huge I think

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 05, 2012 03:17AM
i would go with a 5000 ant 3.5mph 5500 and 6000 it will make a better show for the antique than be runing with the hot stuff and 16 .9 28 and 15 38 because alot of antique were not comming if they had to pull against big cube tractors

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 05, 2012 05:36AM
You could possibly do something like 4500 3.5MPH, 5000 4MPH, 5500 3.5MPH, 6000 4MPH? Still 4 classes, everyone should be able to find 2 that work?

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 05, 2012 12:21PM
man, i would come if you put in a 4750 at 3.7 mph.

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 05, 2012 02:09PM
...says the person that doesn't even have anything to pull
Antiques are boring, but also help fund most other classes. And not everybody has the money to build something bigger. But at least they come to have fun and want to try and be competitive. Jason is busting his ass to try and make it so everybody can come and pull and have a shot at winning. If you don't like it, than you're at the wrong place.

Re: Pulling Classes-please look them over October 06, 2012 04:58AM

I pull Mini's, but I still enjoy watching antiques run. Like the old iron and impressed with what they do some of them.
