I know this is prolly common knowledge for most but what ways can I slow up my m. Gonna build it for more rpm and need to slow the gear ratio down. Thanks in advance.

planning on doing the same thing. from what I've read, run a 560 ring and pinion,and it will slow it down by 30%. 1st gear will be approx. 2080 rpm's at 3mph with 14.9s.

Lookin at building an m farmall with a big block Ford running 5000 rpm. Wondering what I can do to slow the rear end down so I can run more than just 1st gear. Have to run a 8 mph pace so 1st gear would be my only option right now.
