Shops around IL to cut keyway in crank? February 24, 2013 03:39PM
I need a keyway cut on the flywheel side of a JD G crank so I can run a steel flywheel. Alot of the local machine shops won't touch it so I'm looking for a place that will.

could you design it with a taper lock hub in a steel flywheel? Like the ones they use to repair a stock flywheel

You could I guess, I have my splines welded and turned down and using a Browning hub.

If G and G can't I am sure that Hapco in Terre Haute can do the job (812) 232 2550, they fixed up the snout on my 585 Minneapolis crank
