You get out of it what you put into it. We da with to 320 grit before primer, then sand again 320 grit after a high build primer. 53' drop deck about 7 gal single stage paint. We used ppg a fleet brand called cocept. painted around 20 trailers with this process. about a 8 hr job for 1 guy spraying. did quite a few with bc cc thats a bigger job

Don't know where u are located but Tiger Ries from Hastings Mn has about an 60 foot paint booth and painted a trailer a few years ago two colors with Emeron paint for about 7500 bucks...... Might be worth contacting him as his guys did a very good job-contact stagecoach express if u r looking for a number

Before I would spend $7500.00 on paint I would consider reskining the trailer. There are a couple of places around here that will reskin your trailer for the 4-5,500 hundred range. 53 footer being on the higher end of that.

Take it to a graphics company and have a vinyl overlay done on it, alot cheaper and faster than paint.

Fleet refinishers in Holland, Mi will prep and paint a 53' moving van for less than 5000. They have done several and they look great when finished. They use good quality paint that lasts really well.
