SBJD Lifter groove cutter March 02, 2013 04:18PM
Who sells the tool for cutting the grove in the lifter bore of a SBJD for roller lifter
I checked with Rursch and crower and neither one has the tool in stock
Is there anyone else that sells the tools that has one in stock

Did you check with Lemke? I know they sell the lifters but I don't know if they sell the tool or not. Do you already have the lifter bores bored out?

The lifter bores already have the groves in them but they were not cut far enough down the bore for the new style lifter that Iam going to
I need to go in and make the groove longer for the new lifter so that it will sit low enough in the bore to get the cam in
they are the .842" lifters

Mike, we have a .842 groove tool. We are going to be down that way later today. We could drop it off.
